Chris Marlow and Scott Hastings are wayyyy better than Booner and Bollerjack, B&B are the announcer for the Jazz games. Both are clowns.

Thanks for posting this, chaugh970. I'll probably merge it into the training camp thread in a day or so so it can live with all the other training camp articles, but for now I'll leave it here so everyone can get a good, easy look at it.

I really have a good feeling that the Nuggets will surprise everyone next season.. it reminds me of the Lakers(last season) of how evryone thought they would just, u know, fail because of their turmoil regarding Kobe, but they then surprisingly reached the finals.. now its the Nuggets turn to do some magic of their own.

The only other local announcers (besides Hastings and Marlow) that I have seen are the Spurs guys. They were terrible.

I think most are bad. I've listened on nba.com to streams of local broadcasts from a few different teams - homers across the board.

I think the fact that Marlowe was an announcer for the Olympics, and Hastings use to have a job for TNT has a lot to do with why they are bearable....But sometimes I can't stand the both of them, because it seems like they jinx the $#*t out of our team.

Lol...why am I always on the otherside of the fence here.....I don't mind them for the most part......

added "nuggets announcers" to the thread title since this is opening up to a wider discussion about that.

NT, most of them don't bother me, really, but I do think homerism and limited knowledge of opposing teams and players are two aspects of local broadcasting that happen pretty consistently across the board.

Marlowe/Hastings are ok. I really like Marlowe, but Hastings is boring.

Bring back the Marlowe/Hanzlik duo, they work better.
