I'd like to state that I truly and really am sorry for everything that's happened in the past five months with me," he said after stepping up to the podium at the Mavericks' media day. "This is not the way I carry myself. This is not how I want to be portrayed, and I really and truly am sorry to everybody that I offended. I'm upset with myself and the way I've acted the past months. I truly and really am sorry."

Hopefully people can forgive him and stop bashing him and the Mavs so we can get back to basketball but knowing people PSD the odd of that happening are slim to none.

Who cares? Everybody already hates him (not including me) but my prediction is this being another J.Howard bashing thread

Honestly if you care what a guy playing basketball cares about the anthem your either someone who is naive or special. It's sad this is getting more press than the travis henry drug empire

Forced apology

Hopefully it wasn't for the sake of his status.

It doesn't change the fact that he is a piece of ****. Mark Cuban obviously forced him to do this.
