Yao and Mcgrady

Hm, this one is quit difficult to determine. I was leaning towards Allen Iverson and Carmelo Anthony, but there lack of play on the defensive end concerns me. Tracy McGrady and Yao Ming are probably the best, but there lack of getting out of the first round allows to say KG and PP.

Hrmmmm I wonder who is going to win this poll. Basically every poll should be who is your basketball team. Nobody is stopping Kobe and Gasol here Laker fans own the polls. Anyway I went elsewhere and decided to go with Boozer and Williams

True that I think they deserve a spot more than Kidd and Dirk jeez bringing Kidd over was quite possibley the worst thing Dallas could have done.

idk y people bother having polls that includes Lakers players, they will always win.

I'd have to say the Celtics duo because they are the only one's to have actually WON SOMETHING!

Stop beeing so biased Lakers fans...

What's wrong with you guys. Those might be some great duos but the best 2 that WORK TOGETHER and make each other better are Deron Williams and Carlos Boozer. They work the best together.

No Duncan and Parker??? With three championships together how can these guys not be considered??

I will give the nod to Parker and Duncan with Amare and Nash close behind followed by the duo of Williams and Boozer.

As a Raptors fan I'm beyond excited to see how the CB4 and JO experiment works out (I'm personally expecting great things). But until the two step on the court together it would be unfair to consider them in a conversation of the best duo in the NBA. Next year though...

talentwise, Yao and McGrady SHOULD be the best. Iverson and Melo are second in line, but I understand that, as scorers, they can't share the ball well, so they get pardoned. but Yao is a center, McGrady is a guard forward, and they should work well together. but they've never got out of the 1st round.

Wait!! Where is Duncan and Parker?

I said KG and Pierce because they just won it all, but Duncan and Parker have 3 titles together as well.

My vote goes to Kobe and Gasol.

It should be Paul and Chandler not West.
It should be Butler and Jamison not Arenas (as Arenas was injured most of last season).
I can't believe Iverson and 'melo got 3 votes, they dont work together.
And Bosh and O'neal are yet to play a game together!

Of course is WADE AND MARION OR WADE AND BEASLEY OR BEASLEY AND MARION

TMac and Yao when healthy. Yao is so easily the best true center in the NBA, sorry Howard would be a PF 10 years ago, and TMac is still an elite player.

If I had a dollar for every time someone cried like this....

its not crying it is true. Laker fans dominate this site, hence the reason Bynum is rated the #4 center in the NBA, and Kobe and Gasol are winning this poll, or the Lakers are guaranteed champions the upcoming season. It is what it is, just have to know that going into these polls. Or keep Laker players off of it all together, and that doesn't make a lot of sense either

IDK why people say Kobe and Gasol they aren't a DUO they are just two players... that dont really influence the other.

This one is tough but I went with KG and Pierce. They can give you anything, offensive, defense, hustle. My second choice would have been TMac and Yao. Just so you know Kobe and Gasol will win.

How about a quad-duo

Kobe,Gasol,Bynum,Odom

U mean 1 All-star, 1 "star" that puts up 15ppg and 10 rpg, Overhyped and unproven kid(14ppg and 10rpg in less than 40 games, shaq averaged close numbers in more games) and 1 star that acts like a role player

And Houston has 2 all-stars, 1 star that averages 20ppg 6rpg 4 apg, Steve Francis who still get 15ppg and 5 apg, and Scola who is close to odom

i dont think the garnett/pierce one should count. sure they r a great duo but ray allen is a HUGE reason why they did so good last season. not only did he score like 20ppg but he is also a decent passer and spreads the opposing team's defense like no other cuz he is one of the best 3 point shooters ever.

id go with nash and amare, virtually impossible to defend them with nash's amazing passing and amare being so freakishly athletic.

on offense, totally, but they give those points right back on the other end. They are possibly the two worst defenders in the elite player group. Yikes. Luckily Bell is around, and Barbosa or Diaw will attempt defense.

I'm a Mavs fan and there's no way I could vote Dirk and Kidd even though they got 0 votes. It was between Yao and T-Mac and Nash and Amare for me. I went with the Suns Duo because Nash is just been and is a phenomenal point guard. As for Amare he really has developed into a dominant presence on both ends of the floor; possibly the best PF/C in our league right now.
