We kinda already had a thread like this one. The other one was actually better it had the best/worst case scenarios.

Greg Oden reminds me of Patrick Ewing (Based on what I have seen from him in college)

Ewing should shoot the jumper and had more of an offensive game....but they could turn out similar....

Greg Oden - David Robinson

I think this is the best comparison although if Oden could be half the player Robinson was the Blazers will be very lucky....

Fo the things ive seen they remind me (game wise):
Oden: Mutombo.

I think he will be Mutombo with a better offensive game....

One comparison I haven't heard yet that makes sense....a bigger version of young Zo.....

Mayo: Ben Gordon
Rose: Kevin Johnson
Oden: David Robinson, mostly because of his ability to run the floor.

LOL at Marc Gasol being compared to Sabonis...Sabonis had point guard like passing skills...Marc Gasol is more of a dirty work guy in the trend of Fab-O or Anderson 'Carlito the Potatoehead' Varejao.

Payton was 6'4", and completely dominated college basketball. Chalmers best case scenario is TJ Ford

I don't hate the Heat at all. But Chalmers doesn't resemble Payton in the least bit, sizewise, or gamewise. Please.

I don't hate the Heat at all. But Chalmers doesn't resemble Payton in the least bit, sizewise, or gamewise. Please. You are so blindly devoted to your Heat you don't think rationally. If someone said Kevin Love was the next Tim Duncan, I would laugh at them. You don't seem to see that line with your team

omg dude. If Chalmers becomes a top 10 PG of all time like Mr Payton, I will personally fly to Miami and get him to autograph my forehead. Seriously, stop it. I thought the TJ Ford comparison was right on. Maybe a shorter Devin Harris

Jerryd Bayless- a better version of Michael Jordan

hockeypro68

Bayless: Ben Gordon.

I disagree. I think Bayless more resembles Monta Ellis' game, and Eric Gordon more resembles Ben's. Bayless is not as adept to the 3point shot.

Well, I take bball seriously, to the point I am gonna say something if a fan compares a 2nd round tiny point guard to a top 10 pg of all time. Excuse me.

I agree with you, but he has the brute strenght of shaq and the speed and quickness that remind me of Robinson. I base my opinion on college NOT PRO LEVEL.

When he comes into his own at the pro level, I hope he can have an impact like those guys.

After dealing with all the "BUSTERS", that I have seen come through Portland, it is refreshing to have a player of his class here.

cool
Kevin Love reminds me of Wes Unseld. I am getting lofty as hell like some of the stuff on here, but there it is.

And Derrick Rose is a more athletic Deron Williams, and that one I actually think will happen
