How does this sound astros trade for Matt Holliday. Lee's in left, put Pence in center, and have Holliday in Right.

Is that our team? Who do we keep? How do we get Holliday?

Other than that... sounds nice

We could trade them Willy T., Jason Hirsh, and Tayl... oh nevermind

I dont think we have enough to get Holliday from the Rockies, they'd want some young prospects for him and all of ours are in either Colorado already or in Baltimore.

Plus his stats outside of Colorado arent all that impressive. His splits are pretty drastic. Great player no doubt, but I think the team would be better off going after pitching as opposed to offense. The current lineup is more than capable of scoring points, we just have to figure out how to keep the opposing teams from putting more up.

i think our batting lineup is stacked, what we need is pitching

And we don't have much talent in the minors to make a big trade.

Yeah I agree! We don't need Holiday when we need to address pitching. If and this is big "if" the Astros were going to make a run at Holiday then they should wait till FA. I would rather the Astros extend Berkman's contract thatn spend money on Holiday.
