Well Luol Deng and Ben Gordon are officially on the British team trying to qualify for the London Olympics. Deng has been for a while but Gordon only joined recently, he possibly wanted to try for the U.S first.

Amaechi does basketball camps in Manchester I think, and contributes to anti-bullying charities and campaigns over here in case anyone's interested.

The British league is pants. I saw a GB game the other day, only one guy from the BBL made it. When I watched it was Deng and Pops running the show, a few ex NBA nobodies like Archibald and some Europe players and US college players. Gordon said he would have played if he had signed a long term deal, but he hasn't and I'm not sure on Azubuike. We have qualified for the European finals, and we should compete quite well at London 2012.

and Amaechi did our olympics commentary in the summer, and he's sometimes a guest on C5 who show 1 basketball game a WEEK, thank god I get league pass broadband

lol get him ove rhere, he would probably play a part lol.

but yeah, we're definatly improving alot, and the interest is definatly there. I hope London get a team and join in the euro league, and jump on the big European bandwagon of stealing NBA players, that would be good.
