I agree. You need to show your source when you start a thread.

Marbury has a big tatoo on his head, he is injured all the time and he is not the PG he was in PHX but he is not that bad. If LA signs him for not too much it COULD be a nice deal.

LA is a championship favorite and set at point guard with fisher and farmar so i dont see why theydd screw up their chemistry with a ****** like marbury, did you just randomly make this up?

I hope your kidding. Marbury is only good when he's the not the 1st or 2nd option which he won't be for the Lakers. Him and Kobe are good friends and with Phil Jackson in the locker there's no way their will be bad chemistry.

Everywhere Starbury goes, losing happens

i hope he signs with boston or houston then....then its LA's title to lose by that logic.

na but seriously though, i hope he is a mentor and temporary answer for miami and that he can help chalmers be great

mentor him in what? How to say stupid things to the media, or not play hard, or get stupid tattoos? If I were an NBA GM, I wouldn't touch Marbury with a 10 foot pole

lol...people age and mature. he was a great player back in the day and probably isnt bad now. he has a lot of experience. idk if his personality has changed after everything that has happened but considering the ron artest of old and now, i think marbury could turn around also. artest had some mental issues, marbury was just unhappy, on a bad team, and had messed up management. no, he wasnt playing up to his potential before but when his father was hospitalized at the arena and nobdy said anything...and he didnt even get to say goodbye because of isaih and the management...i mean, id feel out of place and give up too. miami is different. he could fit in well there with wade, marion, and beasley being above him and knowing that his place isnt to be the franchise and if he messed up it wouldnt be a problem to bench him, buy him out, or just make him inactive

Bynum has that cvered. They could use a tougher backup though but considering their roster, they should make it work

Not a good move for Lakers in my opinion. I think everything will start out okay, but then by the end of the season the real Marbury will come out and ruin everything. This used to be a great player, but now he's a selfish, ignorant a hole.

I can almost believe the Lake Show being interested in him if he is released. But there is now way they would give a 4 year deal. If Starbury is released he would sign a contract for no more than the vets min for 1 year.

And how would Marbury a six foot guard solve that problem???

He is the Mike Tyson of basketball. I can't say it enough, if I am an NBA GM, I hang up on Marbury's agent if he calls me, and send him a letter to never contact me again. The guy is a loser, and complete waste of talent.

Where's a link?....Marbury would do nothing but ride the bench on the Lakers because there's no way he would beat Fisher for the starting PG spot.

Wrong. He was only the 2nd option with the Wolves when he was with KG and since 98 thru o5 he was the 1st option and had his best years. You say he is only good when he is not the first or 2nd option, but he has never been a 3rd option in his career so there is no proof for the statement you made.
