"Kool" says he's one of the best defenders

Q: So your nickname is "Kool," with a "K." Why?

A: Because I'm cool.

Don't even bother reading the rest of the interview.

That's all you need to know.

Ah Balkman...I think you got a steal with that trade. I would have loved for the Spurs to have traded for him.

I think so too, josh - and I think most NY fans think we stole him from them, as well. A lot of people kinda shrugged their shoulders and said, "eh, pretty good move, I guess" with this one, but after the Camby salary dump, it's probably the 2nd most underappreciated move of this offseason.

It's amazing to me how many people still don't get it about what we did w/ Camby. Although I think most Nugs fans do now. Granted, not easy to "get" at first glance (it took me a while), but it's definitely one of those "the more you think about it, the more it makes sense" moves.

In fact, look at the Knicks now - they're doing the exact same thing with Marbury, except they're going to have to pay him off, whereas we end up with a $10 million TE and $10 million this season (followed by another next) off the books.

Fantastic, cause he will most likely be guarding who AI can't or who Melo won't.
