Bonzi Wells is still a free agent, I know he has a lot a baggage that comes along with him and he maybe a little out of shape but I think if he can get back into shape and play like he did for the Blazers and Kings he could really help a team, so would any of you take a chance on him?

He's been out of trouble the last few years. I would take a chance on him. He messed himself up a bit when he turned down like 5 or 6 million a year from the Kings over 5 or 6 years. He thought he could get more but only got 2.5 million from Houston and he hasn't been that good to make up for the lost money.

I don't know, he seems to be a cancer on teams. He starts to complain when he doesn't get enough playing time.

Detroit would gladly take Bonzi back.

He actually turned down a 5 year 38 million dollar contract. Thank god he did since he went downhill fast after he was with the Kings.

It would have to be a veteran team who can control him. Can anybody say the SPURS.

....bonzi wells is a beautiful man rofl...no seriously for as long as I can remember he is a key player to a lot of teams and is solid and is a decent shooter....and has a fighting attitude...he obviously is competitive so you know what bonzi if you want a title....lakers will gladly take you and your amazing talents....the hornets mistreated you and so did sacramento! Because he isn't real skinny doesn't mean he can't compete....shaq? Haha

He never really played hard for the Rockets, so I don't like him all that much.

Bonzi isn't the same after leaving Sacramento. Only chance on him is a 1 yr low money deal. Not worth the baggage.

Probably if he understands his role as a bench guy...if he isn't ok with that, and isn't willing to fulfill that role then sure.

he still have some gas in his tank but this guy lacks focus and game dedication so perhaps i rather give chance to young players

I just still cant get out of my mind how he just mistreated the spurs 2 years ago in the playoffs. The guy averaged 23 and 12 boards. So its kinda hard to believe he is just done. I mean he was in the perfect situation twice with Houston and with the Hornets. Teams who really needed his instant offense and toughness. I believe if he is motivated he can be a contributor. but unfortunately i just dont think he is motivated tho

Bonzi is a guy that needs the ball in his hands to create. He's good as either a first or second option or 6th man, any other role and he won't be happy. I wouldn't want him on the Pacers, he needs to go to a team that needs a backup SG/SF and primary bench scoring option. You'd think the Hornets could use him, but if he can't get consistent minutes he can't score, which is what he's good at.

I can see him in San Antonio, Miami, or Orlando. Two years, second non-garuanteed, vet's minimum.

I never got how come he never got playing time after he left the Kings. I also remember that series vs the Spurs he was killin' them the Kings actually almost won.

Ha I think If your contender and you need some minutes and you have great chemisty guys in the locker room why don`t you call him up
1.He`s A FREE AGENT
2.If you sign him you can give him a small deal like a 1 year tender(your team salary won`t be affected as much)
3.If you give him a 1 year tender, he would have no choice but to perform and earn a extension. And If he doesn`t help you , get rid of his contract easliy.

He won't accept a 1 year deal for little to no money...he's probably gotten a few offers from teams but did not accept because he was not getting what he was looking for.
