Im sure you have all read the article... http://www.prosportsdaily.com/comments/livingston-workouts-attracting-interest-09-13-2008.html

So who do you think has the best chance?

Miami if he is healthy enough and feels that he could start or at least come of the bench. If not the Blazers.

Miami needs him the most, but i think it would depend on who offers him what

Shaun's not ready to contribute a whole lot this coming season, he's still not back to 100% so its not like Miami would offer him a starting spot, and I'm not sure Riley will want to guaruntee him money for a complete question mark. The Blazers already have a bunch of pg's and another one under contract might not be something they want to do. So I think he'll end up in Minnesota, which makes sense, because they only really have 1 true pg in telfair, and while foye can play point, hes not a true point. So bringing telfair into that young team for future yield makes sense.

can someone explain to me why portland would be interested in livingston, it seems to me they have a bit of a logjam at the point and off guard positions...so why would they add yet another guard

Whatever team that sign him is going to have to wait a while before he can be productive again.

Because they don't have a true PG. Blake and Bayless are more of scoring PG's, although they have talent. However, I think they want someone who could take pressure off Roy at times, and be comfortable handling and passing the ball. Livingston has been known to do that, and before he got injured he was quite good at it as well.

Anyway, any of those teams have a chance. However, the T-Wolves have Telfair and Foye who can play PG and SG, so I don't see why they would need him. From there it's a toss up. Both teams seem to have a fair shot.

Although, if Marbury is being waived the Heat may pick him up. That would put the Blazers in the clear.

Well... it looks like the Blazers are going to be the team to sign him. After a group from the Blazers watched Shaun Livingston in Phoenix last week, Livingston travelled to Portland this week and is currently being examined by the Blazers trainers and doctors. A signing could come as soon as Monday when Rudy Fernandez is scheduled to arrive in Portland.

I think the Wolves, they can play him a few minutes a game, and need a combo guard like him. He won't contribute much this season, but he still has potential

I think the best thing for him to do is rehab the knee and play a year in europe and then come back to the NBA.
