three sources told Yahoo! Sports, recent discussions with the Chicago Bulls on several trade scenarios that included Shawn Marion and Marcus Banks for unsigned restricted free agent Ben Gordon, Larry Hughes and possibly Joakim Noah. Yet, those talks died within the past seven to 10 days and sources said there was no indication they would be restarted.

Interesting proposal.....How do we get Marbury in Miami?

If the bulls made that trade, Paxson should have been automatically fired.

Would of been an awesome trade for the Heat though.

This is a pretty bad trade for the Heat, And Bulls overall.

Why Noah? Do the Bulls even have a center after this trade?

this is horrible for the heat. marion would solve a lot of defense, rebounding, and 3 point shooting problems. gordon is not a point and is undersized for the 2. I'm not big on noah at all really, but he could prove himself. but this is horrible. LARRY HUGHES? next. besides...marions contract expires at this years end. that gives a lot of flexibility

Bad trade for the Heat.
Shawn Marion > Larry Hughes.
Joakim Noah didn't impress me at all.
And Ben Gordon at the point? :pity:

Yeah I would prefer Ben Gordon and Larry Hughes stay the hell away from my team. Get me a real point guard!

Think about it, you guys don't need a PG who will do all the handling. You guys will have Wade who will have the ball in his hands most of the times. Anyways, if the Bulls do this trade, they will have Marion & Gooden at PF & C which will be REALLY undersized. I don't want this trade to happen either because Tyrus wouldn't get any playing time and BG is my favorite player.

lol...but seriously, you know you would be ecstaic if this deal went through. its a no lose situation for the bulls. and even if gordon was switched with heinrich, it would be bad for the heat. it would mess us up financially and heinrich isnt quick enough IMO

I think it would work out better for both teams if Hinrich was in instead of Gordon. The Heat would get their PG and a backup for PG/SG with Hughes who also expires in time for 2010. Then they get their C in Joakim who brings energy, defense, and rebounding which is what they need next to Beasley. The Bulls could try it out and Marion could be a tutor to Tyrus and we get our bacup PG in Banks. I guess this trade would be better for both team only if it was Hinrich instead of Gordon.

Heat:
PG Hinrich/Hughes/Quinn
SG Wade/Cook
SF Wright/Jones
PF Beasley/Haslem
C Noah/Maglore/Blount

Bulls:
PG Rose/Banks
SG Gordon/Sefolosha
SF Deng/Nocioni/Nichols
PF Marion/Thomas/Simmons
C Gooden/Gray

if they just took noah out of the deal and it was gordon & hughes for marion and a filler/pick then i would do it. otherwise screw that.

My only guess is that Paxson wants to part ways with Joakim because of his attitude and knuckleheadedness (is that even a word?).

I think Beasley's supposed attitude is overrated. He's just a kid that's enjoying life and having fun and that made people believe he isn't as focused on basketball as he should've been. But when you look at this averages from HS to college you can't help but be amazed. As Sheed has said, ball don't lie and Beasley certainly can ball with the best of them. I've followed him since his HS days and the kid was a beast no matter who he played against.

Bad for both,

Heat will get a undersized shooting guard, wade is there plus we both know that ben and wade are better as an off ball guard, Larry hughe just eats up salary, Joakim - god knows what he'll get himself into in Miami with chalmers plus where does that put haslem?

Bulls - They get marion, either gooden and tryus cuts down on the minutes or its luol deng. Marcus banks has a **** contract so why not stick with ones that are more productive and an upside.

As a Heat fan, I'd like it if Hinrich was included instead of Gordon, cause Wade likes playing off-ball, and Hinrich is better suited to run the point. As for Hughes' contract, it comes off the books at the same time as Blount's, clearing up a good amount of space in the summer of 2010. I could see why Bulls fans wouldn't go for it though....mainly because Noah is included. But I would never do the proposed counter-offer of Gordon and Hughes for Marion...:puke:

Lmao nice. If that trade would've happened, I'd trade Hughes after for a PG or something. Say it's Tinsley then the lineup would be ok.

C-Noah / Magloire
PF-Beasley / Haslem
SF-Wright / Jones
SG-Wade / Gordon
PG-Tinsley / Chalmers

Hinrich Makes.

2008/9 = 10,000,000
2009/10 = 9,500,000
2010/11 = 9,000,000
2011/12 = 8,000,000

So either the last two are team option, or someone here is wrong.

As for the trades, I would not.
