He remains on the Market, Titans just signed Chris Simms. I think that he could be a good pickup and emergency backup plan. What do you guys think?

I really don't see how that would help clear up the QB confusion in SF.

I take this post back, as I now know that we are signing a 38 YEAR OLD former RAM!!! Jamie Martin.

The 49ers aren't taking any chances and, according to reports, plan to bring in 38-year-old quarterback Jamie Martin for a physical today. Martin has been with nine teams in his 15-year career - tying Bruce for longevity. He had two stints under 49ers offensive coordinator Mike Martz with the St. Louis Rams.

he would have to much catching up to do, but he would not be bad 3rd stringer.

^No. Who cares, he most likely won't play a down anyways.

Yea... Martin is just going to be a 3rd stringer. I really hope he doesn't play... because if he does, that means JTO and Hill both got hurt.

We should've let Trent Dilfer stay with the team.
