A league source has told ****** contributor Tommy Dee that the Memphis Grizzlies are demanding a conditional first round pick along with Zach Randolph in exchange for Darko Milicic and Marko Jaric.

Walsh in return is asking for a young player, assuming either Javaris Crittenton, Kyle Lowry or Hakim Warrick if he is to surrender a first round pick.

It should be noted that the first round pick will more than likely be the 2012 pick because:

1) We owe Utah a pick in 2010
2) No team can trade first rounders years in a row
3) Hence that means 2012 is the next available pick eligible for trade

I don't see this happening.

Yeah Randolph's contract is a strain, but he is an upgrade over Jaric and Darko. I can see maybe a future 2nd round pick being included, but outside of dumping Darko and Jaric, this move doesn't make much sense for both teams, it is basically trading overpaid, but somewhat productive player (Randolph) for a flaming pile of crap (Darko and Jaric).
