Simms isn't gonna start...Kris Collinsworth just laughed at the idea. Why can't we get Culpepper?

No interest in Losman. Cassel will be the guy who takes over, because he knows the offense the best. Culpepper isn't an option either, IMO. Simms will most likely be brought in, but it will be a while until he learns our offense.

Simms is actually much much better than you think. He actually led a team to the playoffs (Bucs) 2005. He's been in demand for the past 2 years, but the Bucs wouldn't freakin trade him (even though they wouldn't start him).

Plus he's on those fantasy files commercials:

Simms would be a good body to get in there to start learning the system. I could see him being a decent back up to Cassel at the very least.

Hay this Patriots team is going to make the playoffs. We got 3 RB's that can pound the ball and another RB that can catch screen passes all day. Moss, Welker, and Faulk are going to make Cassell's life alot easier. After the bye week if the Patriots aren't at least 3-2 then let Simms or whoever take over.

Don't post in here anymore! Go put the bag back over your head and enjoy your 1-15 seasons.

I think that it will be Cassel running the team and if Simms is signed, he might be a starter in week 6 or 7 if he makes the team and if Cassel struggles

Even if Simms is brought in here imo he doesn't start over Cassell unless he really really Sucks.

After BB not cutting Cassel when I for one thought he should have I think he will be the starter for the season unless something happens to hi. I don't know if BB was stretching it or what but he said in his press conf that nobody has been brought in to talk or try out. That doesn't mean he won't but it seems that Tom's backup has just been given the biggest promotion of his NFL life lets hope that he makes good on it...
