Is it just me, or does he really pick odd numbers (not literally) for his jersey?

Last year he was 93, now he this year he will be 96.

Im pretty sure he was 91, when he was with the Pacers at one point.

Are there any other ones he has had?

Also, does anyone know if there is a reason he chooses his number the way he does?

Like for example, did something good happen in the year '93 or '96??

Ron-rons gonna do his thing to attract attention towards himself. For houston though its good, cause itll take a lill attention off the 2 guys who should have it all in Yao-T-mac , I kinda like a guy who wants to be remembered as different rather than plain ordinary, anyone seen his pre season interviews, i heard the word Championship every 3rd word, i like the sound of that commitment

He is a hard guy... i dont know if there is such a thing as a hard or a soft number...

arenas is 0 because nobody believed in him...

Dennis rodman was 91 i think and some other numbers...

the numbers in the 90's are extremly undesirable.. somewhat distraught .. different just like him...

Lets play number basketball number association...
3 is generally a very very good point guard
32 34 or 50 is generally a very strong center or power foward
23 jordan

91,93,96 ???? RON ARTEST snitchers

93 is supposed to stand for queens bridge.

Yeah I heard that too. 9=q and 3=B

I guess 96 is the same?? 9=q and 6=b

I know why he took 96.

There are 96 buildings in Queensbridge.

9=Q B=6

You can win a championship with 96 games.

Rodman always wanted to take 69 but couldn't so Artest took 96.

He said all of that during a press conference.

He picked the number 93 in Sacramento because he says it represents the Queensbridge projects where he grew up, with the “9” representing the “Q” in Queens and the “3” representing the “B” in Bridge. Also, the inspiration for Artest choosing 93 as his number was inspired by Souls of Mischief's 1993 album 93 'til Infinity.
