If you had to start a franchise, which one of these guys would you start your team with? Note: Keep in mind each player is supposedly the same age.

Shaq, Hakeem, or Kareem?

I didn't get the chance to see Kareem play live, so that may factor into my opinion, but Hakeem then Shaq.

i really wasnt able to see kareem either nor was i able to see hakeem cuz i was too young. didnt rly care to watch if it wasnt jordan. but lookin at shaq's rookie season numbers alone, i just cant see how you could go wrong. he was a beast on both ends. then again kareem is one of only 2 players w more points than jordan. but didnt he play like a billion years?

Hakeem. Without a question. He could do it all. Score / Rebound/ Blocks / Steals. And did it with class as well.

I really have not watched Kareem or Hakeem but I know that Shaq in his prime was unstoppable, literally.

Kareem came out of college as the greatest college and highschool player of all time. You would have to be ******** not to pick him.

if at the present time i will be drafting one of these guys to start my team with. Ill probably be torn between Hakeem and Shaq (very tough choice) . but definitely Kareem will be out of the picture (no disrespect to all kareem's fans). Ill go with SHAQ just a tiny bit over Hakeem

Kareem rather easily for me. Then it is a toss up between Hakeem and Shaq.

Kareem no doubt. Then Hakeem (very close, but Hakeem has a preferable personality), then Shaq.

I'm curious on what are peoples reasons for selecting Hakeem here?

I got a question for you guys as well.. basketball at its present level .. do you really think KAREEM will be dominating as much as he was back then?

Thinking that kareem , shaq , and hakeem all come out of college at the same time.

If I had to choose based on today's game and having all these players in their prime I'd take the Big Aristotle. When he was in his prime he was unreal. I remember watching him take it full court like a PG and crammin' on people.
By all means Kareem and Hakeem wouldn't be bad... I wouldn't complain if I had either of them.

hakeem was easily the best player in my opinion, but the problem is he was only great for that short period of time. I'd have to take kareem because he was able to produce a lot for a long period of time.

Thank you very much. You know your ball.. thats good to know..

A lot of people will hate me for this but honestly if you know how the game is being played rite now.

I seriously think with SHAQ , HAKEEM , playing at the same time with Kareem all at their prime. I dont think Kareem wouldnt be as dominant as he was back then. Most specially playing against SHAQ , SHAQ will destroy KAREEM.

Kareem played against the greatest centers of all-time and put up phenomenal numbers and won. He played against Wilt, E. Hayes, M. Malone, Robert Parrish, a young Hakeem, B. Walton. If I had to start a franchise, I would have to go with Kareem.

1. Kareem
2. Shaq
3. Hakeem

1. Hakeem Olajuwon
2. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar
3. Shaquille O'Neal

Wilt!
Ok, Kareem, but I think Wilt should have been in the discussion.

Hakeem > Shaq based on '95 Playoffs alone. Don't matter that Shaq's won more Championships in the end.

People are actually voting for Shaq??? How could i pass up voting for Hakeem? Hakeem could do everything on both ends of the court. But if i couldn't get hakeem i'd thke Kareem in a heartbeat.
