The total of votes for each team will be counted (all 4 options together) and the team with the higher total wins. Eventually, the result will be the option with the most votes (out of 4 options) of the team that has the most votes altogether.

If the option which has been voted most out of all 8 in the poll is "New York in 6" (20 votes), it doesn't necessarily mean that New York has won. If New York has 50 votes (New York in 4, 5, 6 & 7 altogether), but Charlotte has 55 votes (Charlotte in 4, 5, 6 & 7 altogether), Charlotte is the winner, although it didn't have the most votes in any of its 4 single options. The option with the most votes of the winner (Charlotte) is the final result.

Let's say:
New York in 4 = 10 votes
New York in 5 = 5 votes
New York in 6 = 20 votes
New York in 7 = 15 votes
Total = 50 votes

Now lets say Charlotte has
Charlotte in 4 = 12
Charlotte in 5 = 13
Charlotte in 6 = 17
Charlotte in 7 = 13
Total = 55 votes
The winner would be Charlotte in 6 since they would have the most votes total overall and thus the option for them that was voted the most is Charlotte in 6 would become the final result.

Boston in 5 for me.

09-02-2008, 12:16 AM
Detroit in 6 fo me. boston lost James posey, Sam cassell, and P.J brown who were both big for them in last years playoffs and detroit series, and i think now that they have a ring they wont be as hungry for one as last year, and detroit has never wanted one so bad.

09-02-2008, 12:28 AM
A year later and i see the same results....Celtics in 6

09-02-2008, 12:31 AM
Pistons+ healthy - Posey = Celtics in 7

09-02-2008, 01:02 AM
The Celtics lost Sam Cassell, PJ Brown, and James Posey. Detroit in 7 spoiling the Celtics 2nd straight trip to the finals in front of Boston fans.

Det in 6 Bos too old to make it that far...

what is wrong with you man....2 old??? so if the celtics win the title again you will be shocked becuz you think there OLD????your a moron dude. What exactly have the Pistons done to get "young". Celtics are not old. They will not look old. They will not play old. They will look like the same team they did last year minus posey which wont matter at all.

Det in 6 Bos too old to make it that far...

Wait, so the Pistons have 34-year olds Rasheed Wallace and Antonio McDyess, 32-year-old Chauncey Billups and 30-year-old Rip Hamilton starting and the Celtics are too old?

Celtics ought to take it. Pistons still don't have an answer for KG inside, and Rondo's only going to get better.

Boston in 7

09-02-2008, 03:54 PM
hate to admit it, but c's in 6 or 7.

09-02-2008, 08:36 PM
Boston in 6

09-02-2008, 08:38 PM
I'm going to go with the Pistons. It's probably their last year at a chance at competing in the top tier of the East, and I think they will pull off the upset.

09-02-2008, 08:41 PM
boston in 6

09-03-2008, 02:59 AM
seems like not too many people care about this series, especially compared to lakers/rockets lol

09-03-2008, 01:19 PM
Richard Hamilton on Ray Allen, Teyshaun Prince on Paul Pierce, Rasheed Wallace on Kevin Garnett, Antonio McDyess on Kendrick Perkins, and Chauncy Billups/Rodney Stuckey on Rajon Rondo. I'd say the Pistons have more balance, and just as much experience. Don't think for a minute that Boston's big three will dominate. It's hard to tell who would win.

09-03-2008, 04:31 PM
celtics in 5

09-03-2008, 05:28 PM
I am not voting. The playoffs on PSD are almost the same as last years actual playoffs. It's going to be nothing like this. remember its just the offsseason. there are more moves to come. If anything this series should be Cleveland vs. Detroit

09-04-2008, 10:26 PM
Boston in 6

09-04-2008, 10:33 PM
still find it hard to believe that people think it would only go 5 games for either side. foolish.

09-05-2008, 10:46 PM
Its either the Celtics die fast or the Pistons do its going to be a quick season on either side.

09-05-2008, 10:52 PM
Probably Celtics in 6.

09-07-2008, 03:23 AM
Detroit in 7

09-07-2008, 05:19 AM
Boston in 6. Detroit is a great team, but the big 3 play extremely well together. When 1 of them has an off game, another picks up the slack and goes nuts!

09-07-2008, 05:46 AM
Boston in 6 games.
