what is that stuff that nba players step on before they go into the game?? Its like a sticky door mat? Anyone know what it is?

I assume it helps them grip the floor better..

i Know that. but what is it?? do you ever play ball in doors. it is often time pretty dusty and slippery.

he puts some powder like in his hand so he can get a better grip and his hands won't be so sweaty and lose the ball. and he just does it to look "cool"

Its a sticky thing that has multiple sheets that they step on so that they dont slip. It works really well to.

The sticky stuff doesn't stick to the sneakers, the dust from the sneakers sticks to the sticky stuff. It just removes any dust on the sneakers so the players won't slip.

Its an antislip adhesive pad.... it has multiple layers that you peel off. It also is supposed to take any small dirt etc. off your shoes and stick it to the adhesive covering. They use similar pads in remodel/construction in places where cleanliness is important.
