According to www.cbssportsline.com the Patriots just signed two time pro bowl corner back Deltha O'Neal. When I saw O'Neal's name on the cut down list Saturday I immediately started thinking about the possibility of him coming to New England and, now that he's here I already feel a bit more at ease when thinking about our secondary. He's only 31 which is still younger than Ty Law or Fernando Bryant and he can play better man to man coverage than both of them guys to. This is a typical Patriots move and one that I think improves our secondary big time. Great signing!

Didnt we have him a couple of years ago but he barely played and was injured most of the time? Or am i thinking about someone else

You might be thinking about someone else. Possibly Duane Starks.

i think law is out of reason, i was expecting them to grab Ricky Manning Jr.

It wasnt Starks, it could be Poole though.

Eh, not a bad signing, but if the Bengals and their piss-poor defense is cutting him, I'm not sold on him being the answer in the secondary.

Dominique Foxworth is close to being traded out of Denver and ESPN is calling the Patriots a potential suitor. He wouldn't cost any more than a 5th round pick. We'll see what happens.

Tory James.

i still think we need one more corner for depth. we always get hit with major injuries at CB.

Thats who it was. Foxworth would be a real good pick up though

Foxworth out of the question now after being dealt to the Falcons

I think the Pats are looking for more leadership and experience than Foxworth. I think the O'neal signing could be solid. If he can stay healthy. Alot of the secondary help that has come in recent years always ends up injured somehow. But we'll see
