Hey everyone, we will be continuing the series to find a true top 10 list at each spot. We are on onto the POWER FORWARDS... Dirk Nowitzki took home the 5th spot easily, he had more than 50 votes seperating him from Brand.... We now head to number 6!

Like I said before, I will add more players to the list as soon as we put another guy on the top 10 list.

PS: Please do not start any threads with the same title. I am capable of conducting the polls and completing the series of threads to find the top 10 players at each position. If I need some help I will ask for it. Thanks for your time.

An updated list of the polls we have completed can be found here..
http://www.prosportsdaily.com/forums...d.php?t=261272

1) Tim Duncan
2) Kevin Garnett
3) Amare Stoudemire
4) Chris Bosh
5) Dirk Nowitzki
6)
7)
8)
9)
10)

So People dont keep asking me where Al Jefferson is, he is listed as a center on the depth chart of every major nba site. HE will be on the center list, not the powerforward list.. Thanks for understanding!

I gotta give it to Boozer as of last season. Two seasons ago Brand would be top 5 (he was in the race to win mvp).

Cant believe Dirk was #5....

Anyway, its Brand here

This should be good. For me it should be between Boozer, Brand and Gasol. What hurts Gasol is his rebounding, also not a really good scorer(worst of the three). I would have went with Brand but he's coming from a pretty bad injury. So Boozer. After that definitely Brand. Then to me it's between Gasol and Jamison. Jamison is definitely a top 10 PF.

This is a real close one for me, but I'm going with Boozer. I wouldn't be shocked or upset if Brand and/or Gasol slipped ahead of Boozer. We all know they're going 6-7-8.

boozer

Boozer is a big let down when it comes to the big stage. I'm a Blazers fan, and I still don't understand why Pau isn't winning this spot. He is proven in the big time. When the Lakers went to the finals, he did well and was the second best player behind Bryant. Boozer became a non-factor when his team got eliminated.

Gasol is a better choice than Brand or Boozer. Brand has been injured too much to see if he can still bring it on the big stage like he used to, and Boozer is a certified choke artist when it comes to the playoffs. Meanwhile, Pau Gasol was consistently the second best player on the Lakers' run to the finals, and was one of the main reasons for their turn around in the first place. Kevin Garnett did the same thing, and he's in second place. Boozer and Brand haven't done anything to prove themselves lately.

I'm with you. Pau should even be higher than this. And he did everything you mention while he was playing out of position at the 5 spot.

Tough choice between Boozer and Brand...went with Boozer

Also, I don't think Rashard Lewis should be on this list he's primarily a SF

Are we assuming Brand is 90% healthy again (Hes top 4 if hes 100% back), are we considering how Pau played as a Center or a PF? These are the things I must know before answering.

I thought we were going off of Pau as PF and Brand as injured. If Brand is 90% I would put him over Bosh and under Dirk. And Pau played better as a C for the Lakers than he did as a PF for the Grizzlies...

Carlos Boozer, this would be the top 10 IMO

1. Tim Duncan
2. KG
3. Carlos Boozer
4. Chris Bosh
5. Amare Stoudemire
6. Dirk Nowitzki
7. Elton Brand
8. Rasheed Wallace
9. Pau Gasol
10. Antwan Jaminson

Yea that was pretty much my thinking, at the same time though I think Pau as a PF on the Lakers will do better than Pau in Memphis.

Also MileHigh if your listing Al Jefferson as a C, then why isnt Sheed listed as one

Pau is the definition of under-rated. Just wait til he gets to play at the 4 with Bynum beside him.

ARMIN12NBA

Pau Gasol. He averaged 19 and 8 last year with the Lakers while shooting at an amazing clip of 59% (Boozer shot 55% and Brand shot 53% in 06-07 when healthy).

Elton Brand is a bit better than Carlos Boozer, but because of his injury, I chose Boozer. But I know that Brand is coming back healthy, so really it's a tie for me.

In a couple years when DWest Chandler and CP3 are locked in but as a C I'd put Gasol top 5 not as a PF...

gasol got chumped in the finals. it has to be boozer, at this point in brands career i think booz has him. i would take sheed and some of those other guys before gasol. sheed is much more proven than gasol.

And remember Boozer wasn't really known that well like an all star until Deron showed up. Brand only had the aging Cassel.

Gasol chumped Boozer remember, completely locked him him down and owned him on the other end when Boozer had the balls to guard him.
