Hey everyone, we will be continuing the series to find a true top 10 list at each spot. We are on onto the POWER FORWARDS... Chris Bosh took home the 4th spot easily, with dirk 40 votes behind him... We now head to number 5!

Like I said before, I will add more players to the list as soon as we put another guy on the top 10 list. I will add 5-10 more players after this poll is done.

PS: Please do not start any threads with the same title. I am capable of conducting the polls and completing the series of threads to find the top 10 players at each position. If I need some help I will ask for it. Thanks for your time.

An updated list of the polls we have completed can be found here..
http://www.prosportsdaily.com/forums...d.php?t=261272

1) Tim Duncan
2) Kevin Garnett
3) Amare Stoudemire
4) Chris Bosh
5)
6)
7)
8)
9)
10)

So People dont keep asking me where Al Jefferson is, he is listed as a center on the depth chart of every major nba site. HE will be on the center list, not the powerforward list.. Thanks for understanding!

o, sorry then.

I voted Dirk Nowitzki, because he's still the best shooting big man in the league.
has a lot of offensive weapons. was an MVP once too, but got ridiculed because of the warriors' upset.

man the people in this forum must not be very smart...

first Lamar Odom was voted as the #9 best SF in the league over likes of Gerald Wallace, Price, and Hedo Turkoglu

than Chris Bosh was voted as the #4 best PF over Dirk? that's crazy. Bosh is good yea...he's young and has a lot of potential..yeeeea...but as of right NOW, Dirk is better than Bosh. Their rebounding abilities are bout the same but Dirk is the superior scorer. Dirk has the ability to put the team on his back and take over the game...punishing the other team all over the court.

uhmmm lamar may not be better defensively but he is better in other catergories.... dont say he is averaging less PPG cuz he is playing behind kobe and gasol which means his PPG will be down

Odom averaged less ppg even before Gasol came to the Lakers...as far as the other catagories goes...those three players I mentioned are better than Odom in all other catagories also.

basketball IQ? Gerald Wallace, Prince, and Tukoglu are better..waaay better.
offensive awareness? Gerald Wallace, Prince, and Tukoglu are better
defensive awareness? Wallace and Prince are better
intangibles? Gerald Wallace, Prince, and Tukoglu are better
rebounding? both wallace and turgoklu have the ability to rebound just as well
assists? Gerald Wallace, Prince, and Tukoglu are better
steals? Wallace and Prince are better
blocks? Gerald Wallace is just as good at that as Odom
3 pts shooter? Gerald Wallace, Prince, and Tukoglu are better

what other catagories do you want to talk about?

Dirk Nowitzki didn't deserve the MVP award. He averaged about 18 points and nine rebounds. There were others, like Tim Duncan, in his same position averaging just as much, and winning the finals. Kobe Bryant would have been a better choice too, since he averaged way better stats and made it just as far into the playoffs as Dirk.

The year that Dirk won the MVP, Bosh took his team to the second round. In comparison, Dirk got kicked out in the first, two years in a row. He is not better than Bosh. In fact, he's an exemplification of why a soft, whiny shooting big man can't lead a team.

dirk lead his team to 67 wins, and it doesnt make you better if you go further in the playoffs or not

VOTE LUIS SCOLA for #10 PF!! (in advanced!!)

I have a very high respect and liking for Scola's game, but I don't think that there is any way he is beating out the guys on this list. Say for example, the rest of the rankings go like this:

Dirk, Booz, Pau, Brand, West, Scola...

Scola is still beating out Jamison, Sheed, Aldridge, Lewis and Okafor, which I don't think is happening.

I voted Dirk however there is no way at this point of each of their careers he is better than bosh.

Bosh is a better rebounder on a team that doesnt have anyone like Dampier to box someone out so he can get the rebounds like Dirk does. Bosh averaged similar points last season and played better defense. Yes Dirk won MVP and his took his team to the finals but in the last two years with a better supporting cast Dirk has the same amount of playoff sucess as Bosh. And based on their rate of improvement my bet is on Bosh to make this a no brainer after this year

I'd still take Bosh over him. He's younger, a better interior scorer already (what every title team has), a better interior defender, and a better rebounder. I don't want my PF 24 feet out shooting 3's. Why are my guards / small forward on the team? I want my PF banging in the post.

MVP is done before the playoffs. Dirks team had 67 wins, while he was the best player on the team, and was averaging just as much as players like duncan. thats why he won. idiot :pity:

You do realize that Dirk has lots more game than just standing behind the perimeter and firing up 3's. His mid-range game is one of the best in the NBA. He has a mean fade-away with his back to the basket. Say hes soft, which sometimes i guess he can be, he does hit the glass and pull down boards. All this he didnt deserve the MVP is B.S. I understand he lost in the first round, but HIS TEAM LOST. It wasnt the Warriors v.s Dirk. Dirk had a MONSTER year. Bosh will never win a MVP. Its pointless to even argue cuz Bosh has already been voted number 4, But damn is that a silly pick. some of you people need to really rethink your b-ball knowledge. cuz its eveident you dont know as much as you may think.
