Rose: Might not improve in his shooting and have a really low fg%
Bayless: Has potential as a starter but is a undersized shooting guard in a team who already has a great sg starting for them.
Oj Mayo: TO, Fg%, streaky shooter is worst case for him.
Rudy Fernandez: Chucker, you saw what he did in the Olympics .. he likes taking fade aways
Danillo Ganillari: Might struggle at Defense because of his size even though he showed mad hustle in preseason.
Brandon Rush: Good possibility he might be similar at best as his brother Kareem Rush.
Michael Beasley:Might be very streaky and poor at D, attitude might be a huge problem
Kevin Love: Could be a bust because he likes shooting but is a PF, might be the 2nd coming of Blount at worst.
Greg Oden: Will be a defensive force who can dunk but career might shorten because of injury's and could be a poor post up scorer.
Marc Gasol:Might not be as good as his brother and be soft too. Needs to watch his weight and concentrate to get stronger.
______
Those are just my "worst case scenarios" for these players as my opinion.
Ok since there is 10 players here ... then the one I choose that might not make the rookie/sophomore game is Fernandez because Portland will have trouble getting him minutues because of the Bayless/Outlaw/Webster situation.

he will get around 9 ppg, good in college, but he will be on a lackluster team, who obviously doesnt know what they are doing

Since when is Kevin Love better than Greg Oden?
First off, Oden plays on a better team, and will likely have some foul trouble as he figures things out. Secondly, I didn't put defensive stats, or overall defensive anything. Oden was drafted #1 for his defense. He will never be a great scorer, he has zero post moves except dunk. I think he is an offensively better version of Mutumbo, which is not a bad thing, most on these boards are too young to remember what Deke used to be, since he has played for 59 years.

Oden was and has been recognized for having one of the best post game for a big man coming out of college... he was like 20th in the nation in ppg, he is great with his back to the basket, which makes him a good scorer..

Oden does not have a great low post game. He lives off drop steps, and dunks. He will not be a great NBA scorer. Defender, yes, I think so. But I don't see him ever averaging 20 ppg

I think these kind of threads are pointless, really were just flat out guessing. I mean Oden and Kevin Love are both unproven and until they show up in the NBA they won't be proven players. Don't mean to spoil the party. lol

Bayless: A Ben Gordon type at best....

Kevin Love: A few All-Stars at best....
Greg Oden: I think he's got the chance to be better than Ewing....

I agree with your point about Bayless but we'll have to wait and see if he can really play point in the NBA.
But as far as Fernandez being a chucker...
Are you joking!
The guy has been described as extremely tough... and did you not see his 22 against the US in the final including a pretty tough dunk on the NBA's best young center??
As for him struggling to get minutes read this:

Here is the best/worst case for these players, according to DraftExpress.com:
Rose: N/A/Devin Harris
Bayless: Monta Ellis (w/ better PG skills)/Louis Williams
Mayo: Chauncey Billups/Joe Forte
Fernandez: Kevin Martin/Sasha Vujacic
Gallinari: Hedo Turkoglu/Mike Dunleavy Jr.
Rush: Eddie Jones/Kelenna Azubuike
Beasley: Amare Stoudemire meets Antawn Jamison/Derrick Coleman
Love: David West/Sean May
Oden: David Robinson/Emeka Okafor
Gasol: Mehmet Okur/Marc Jackson
I agree with these pretty much.

I like said, best case should he develop properly, he would be very similar to Josh Smith. I'm not downing Smith at all, I'm simply pointing out what he should strive for. Which was the point of the thread, after all. And if he really was slow and pathetic, he wouldn't have been a #2 pick. Considering you haven't posted any YouTube videos of you schooling Beasley on the court, I don't think the comments are particularly appropriate. If your name's not in the NBA lottery, I don't think you have any business saying that a permier athlete and is pathetic.

After watching the Olympics, Rudy Fernandez will be better than people think. I also think Eric Gordon will have more impact than people think. Jarred Bayless will be good too. I think Derrick Rose wont be as good as people think.
