Pierce --> not an highlight dunker, but I love his slashing ability

Kobe Bryant, when he's in a zone, few are as lethal as him.

this thread is pointless. its scewed by peoples teams preferences...i mean really...t-mac? his greatest 45 seconds will never be topped by him and heis just a jumjp shooter now. and pierce? he is so overrated. if it wasnt for their winning the championship, he would be just as forgotten as he has been for a few years. people seriously think he's the 2nd best SF in the league now...were they saying that in the first 3 series? no. not to mention odam is honestly his qual all around and better than most skill wise and to watch. he can pass as well as anyone and gets dunks cuz of kobe. yes i ranted and combined 2 threads but its all true.

I mean.....obviously Yao, T-Mac, & Artest are on my team so I gotta enjoy them the most because they are Rockets....

But....

I think he's leading in the votes right now and I think he is the most fun player in the NBA to watch....Chris Paul....the guy is poetic in the way he plays....he attacks always....whether it be taking it to the rim, throwing up alley-oop after alley-oop, or getting a crud-load of exciting steals and leading the break....CP3 is ridiculously exciting....

I voted Wade. Seriously, when has there been a game when Wade doesn't do anything flashy??? When you watch the Heat, you can assure yourself that Wade will do something spectacular..he's frikkin awesome to watch!!

Back in high school, my two favorite players to watch were Kobe and Iverson hands down. Then when I graduated High School in '03, it was Lebron. Lebron and Kobe are still up there, while Iverson has taken a hit since he has to share the spotlight w/ Melo..but Wade has impressed me a whole lot the past few years.

Do you guys realize that for the past 3 years on NBA.com, they do this top 10 plays of the year video. Each year, he has at least 3 highlights on the top 10. He's a freak athlete!

So to round off my top 5 players to watch in the NBA right now, it would be something like this:

1) Dwyane Wade
2) Kobe Bryant
3) Lebron James
4) Chris Paul
5) Allen Iverson w/ T-mac right behind

1. CP3
2. Kobe
3. Wade
4. Lebron
5. AI

Do you guys remember when wade blocked amare and then shot the ball from the other side of the basket and made it at the buzzer? WOW! kobe is my second favorite almost tide with wade.:p

Remember that play when he dribbled between a dude's legs in the open court at full speed and then threw a sick alley-oop to Shaq?? That was one of the sweetest things i've ever seen....

Skip to My Lou. Seriously probably Wade or Bryant. Lebron has all the tools to do some amazing dunks, but he does the same thing over and over again.
1. Wade
2. Bryant
3. Lebron James
4. Dwight Howard
5. Arenas(his buzzer beaters are awesome. DAGGER!!!)

Kobe Bryant is the most exciting player to watch especially when he's in the zone. I remember that game in which he scored 81 pts., I could not believe that one guy was able to be in that type of a zone. I remember watching MJ go off on teams, that was the only other guy I can reccall being in that type of a zone.

Current fav. guys to watch:

Kobe, Lebron, D. Wade (he was my fav. player to watch during the Olympics), B. Davis, D. Howard, The Diesel

Kobe obviously. I love his play style which is why I am a big fan of him.

Other than Kobe is a healthy DWade. To me, he is right up there with Kobe, CP3, and LeBron as the best player in the league. When Wade is healthy he plays awesome defense hustles hard. His offense is great as well, very efficient player and is unselfish. He takes very smart shots high percentage. Will be a great player if he can finish healthy.

I went with Kevin Garnett. after watching him his first season in Boston ill watch every game he plays in. His intensity for 48 mins is out of this world. His defensive game and offensive game are both nice things to watch. Gotta go with Garnett on this one. His name is also spelled wrong in the poll...ah well

While I am happy for Pierce, mainly cause my man KG finally won a ring, Pierce was way better 4 years ago. He just had nothing around him. Same goes for KG, and Ray Allen. But, KG did get Pierce to at least try on defense.

You missed 12 years then. It is funny to me that KG has so many more fans now. He has played that way since 1995. And the Wolves, as bad as they were the last few years, were a 50 wins or more team for a long time. I guess poor Minnesota fans, as heartbreaking as that team was, got to see one of the all time greats day in and day out.

not gonna be. His team sucks. He kind of reminds me a Marion. Not real skilled, but great athlete. He does lay a line on the stat board though. Kind of does a little bit of everything. I wouldn't be surprised to see him make an all star game someday, but the Bobcats have to improve a lot, or he needs to go somewhere else.

But his style of play puts me to sleep.

Those textbook hook shots and banks just make my eyes drowsy.

Kobe, LeBron, Wade when there not playing against the Mavs.

MELO 15
08-30-2008, 09:41 PM
Im going with Melo, this guy had a game against the wizards where they had to triple team him from getting 50, or what about the dunk on Tyrus Thomas, or the one where he banged it on theo ratliff, or the one on his old friend andre miller, or the reverse on samuel dalembert and one, or the one where he grabbed his own rebound against the celtics and dunked over three celtics, or maybe the one against argentina, where he dunked over two argentinians. The list goes on and on my friends. Melo is just so fun to watch
