Well, I was just wondering who you thought is Less american.

Chris Kaman- Went and got Duel citizen ship to play for Germany. He knew he would not make the Olypic team so He just left America

Jason Kidd- Giving away his Gold Medal. I understand he already has 1 but still. He is just giving away the gold.

I'm a Clipper fan and of course a big Kaman fan, but I was against him playing for Germany. Although I don't know what's worse...playing for another country or giving away your gold medal some comps.

He didn't do much for the team anyways so maybe he felt like he didn't really deserve it. Regardless, he is still an idiot for doing so. He will probably sell his other gold medal at a yard sale in the dollar bin.

None of them.

Kidd won the Medal and he can do what he pleases with it.

He should donate it for charity anyway.

Kaman got rejected by america and was not likely to be called ever, he saw a chance to play in an special event and took it.

He suspiciously sucked against Usa too.

Do you consider Robert Holden a traitor too?.

The gold plated medal is only a symbolic representation of winning. It still doesn't change the fact that he has 2 gold medals.

Neither.

Carmelo Anthony wins this for throwing his bronze medal from 2004 in a lake...

They are both American. Who cares? Kaman has ancestors from Germany and Kidd is an extremely nice guy. I think it isn't American to demote other Americans status especially for such trivial reasons.

Nationalism is overrated. Jason Kidd was being charitable. Chris Kaman just wanted to play in the Olympics, and Germany just wanted to suck at basketball a little bit less.

Im even not sure if Dominique Wilkins played on a team usa or not, and he was French.

I don't get this. There's nothing unpatriotic about giving away your gold medal. I wouldn't do it because I'd treasure it, but not for nationalistic reasons. I'd value it because of the accomplishment. What does the medal have to do with his loyalty to the country? He wore the jersey proudly while he competed. That's what matters. The whole team behaved like great sportsmen. There's no need to criticize any of them.

I don't agree with him giving it to the Wynns as gratitude, but it's his medal and it's his choice.

This is kinda silly. Kaman is just playing basketball anyway he can and I admire his dedication. Kidd is kinda weird, but if he weren't a professional basketball player, nobody would know or care. It is strange and I know he IS a professional basketball player, but cut them some slack. Like all of us, they do some strange things too...
