Hey everyone, we will be continuing the series to find a true top 10 list at each spot. We have just finished the 9th poll which was won by Richard Jefferson. Number 10 should prove to be wide open in terms of voting as no player really ran away with votes last round.

Please vote and be sure to make comments to who you voted for to create discussion. I have included the players that should maybe have consideration to be in the top. The rest is up to you.

Like I said before, I will add more players to the list as soon as we put another guy on the top 10 list.

PS: Please do not start any threads with the same title. I am capable of conducting the polls and completing the series of threads to find the top 10 players at each position. If I need some help I will ask for it. Thanks for your time.

An updated list of the polls we have completed can be found here..
http://www.prosportsdaily.com/forums/showthread.php?t=261272

2) Paul Pierce
3) Carmelo Anthony
4) Caron Butler

I'm going with durant. He's only coming into his sophomore year but still a great scorer and solid rebounder. Will improve his game and be up there as one the bests in a few years.

Gerald Wallace should've been at #9 over Lamar Odom :pity: if Wallace doesn't make this top 10...he is officially the most underrated player in the NBA. i mean...c'mon...this guy does EVERYTHING. He scores, defends, rebounds, make steals, create turnovers...EVERYTHING. He's also a very intelligent player who's more than willing to sacrifice is body for the ball.

and honeslty yall...i don't think Lamar Odom should be in the top10. Wallace should've been #9 and Hedo Turkoglu should be #10. Hedo had a breakout season last year and he got so goood he's become Orlando's go to guy on offense over Reshard Lewis. This guy is also an all around player who does everything...he scores, shoot 3s, rebounds, and assists.

What does Lamar Odom do? score and rebound? that's it? while averaging only 14 pts per game? a guy who averages 14 pts a game was chosen over all around guys like Gerald Wallace who averages 19 pts and Hedo who averages 17 ppg while anchoring his team's offense? BS.

wow, I'm surprised Odom was #9.

this one was tough. Rudy Gay is a very good potential and already an explosive star, and Luol Deng is a good player, with good solid defense and offense, Durant has a lot of promise, Danny Granger is a good defender as well as scorer, Maggette did a good job scoring and getting to the line last season, Gerald Wallace is a great defender and explosive dunker, tayshaun prince is also a good player. I dunno, I voted for Luol Deng, but any of those players would deserve it.

SCORE BEHIND KOBE AND GASOL who are very solid scorers so what do you expect 20 ppg? gerald wallace can be considered as the star of the bobcats and only scores behind jrich and yet he only gets 19ppg. as for hedo he scores only behind dwight who doesnt even score that much compared to kobe

and whats "thats it" about odom scoring and rebounding? what the problem with that? and he also passes he is considered as one of the best bigmen with handles

Agreed, and again its impossible to say one of those guys is better than the other. I am going with Rudy again just because he is an impact player today with tons of potential for the future. His rebounding ability, long body, athleticism, and shooting ability are a crazy combination that makes him a real difficult match up for most teams.

I am going to have to go with Tayshaun Prince. I think he's underrated as a player, he's a good defender and can hit big shots. He's a smart player who is extremely valuable to the Pistons success. He also gets the assignment of guarding the other teams best player. He did a fantastic job of guarding A. Iguodala during the playoffs this year.

As much as I hate the pistons being a die hard bulls fan, I have to admit I would take Tayshaun on my team in a second. He really gets overshadowed by Sheeds antics, and Billups running the offense. Great player who I agree has a very high basketball IQ, plays hard every night, and can hit the shot when called upon.

Lamar Odom's career average is 14 ppg. and he averaged 15 points or less during the last 4 season...before the Lakers got Gasol.

and by "that's it" i mean "that's it." that's all he can do. while players like Gerald Wallace and Hedo Turkoglu can do more...they can do everything Odom can do and more. Gerald Wallace can do what every of those players on the list can do and more. except maybe shoot the 3 :p

How come Tayshaun isn't getting any love. Yes he was quite a bench warmer, but he was still on Team USA. That better be good enough to put you on the top ten list at your position!! And yes, all this Odom stuff is great because yes he is a great player, but very inconsistent. A lot of these guys deserve to be on this list and it is a tuff choice but I'd go with Prince on my team.

Hedo Turkoglu is the most versatile small forward on the voting block. He averaged 19.5 points, 5 assists, and 5.5 rebounds per game during the regular season. He won the award for most improved player. His stats, except for scoring, were even better in the playoffs. Behind Dwight Howard, he is the most important player on the Magic squad
