I think Cleavland has not won a professional title in quite a while. I would put them higher

I've always found these Forbes lists to be ridiculous.

Minneapolis should be way higher. They haven't won crap in basketball or hockey ever, and the Twins were the last champions there, when I was in 9th grade at Wayzata MN, in 1991.

2. Seattle, Wash.
Teams: Seahawks (NFL) Mariners (MLB), Sonics (NBA)

Title round record: 1-3 (23rd)

Semifinal round record: 4-7 (24th)

Total seasons/early playoff-round exits (or baseball 2nd place): 105/28 (16th)

Total seasons/championships: 105/1 (25th)

Years since last title: 29 (22nd)

Teams lost: 0 (So far)

Losing baseball's expansion Pilots in 1970 doesn't count--the deal to move to Milwaukee in season two was already in place. But if the NBA's Sonics depart for Oklahoma City, Seattle will inherit the top spot.

When has Philly won? Since 1980. Worst sports season ever was the Miami area last year. Dolphins, worst record in NFL, Heat worst record in NBA, Marlins last place, Panthers don't have many fans here at PSD, but they were so effin dissapointing, no playoffs, Da U I hate em but no Bowl Game, FAU was the only school in the state of Florida to win a bowl game last year.

My city (philadelphia) HAS to be #1

its been 25 years since weve seen a chip when my sixers won in 83

*winning the arena bowl this year doesnt count

yea this is a terrible list. All it does is take teams that make it too the playoffs and don't win it all. So in regards its better to have never even made it versus make it and lose. Really doesn't make any sense why a city like Atlanta would be number one. The Braves won how many division titles in a row? The Falcons made it to the Super Bowl awhile ago. What about teams that have never even made it?

Nothing really surprising.......all teams deserved to be on the list.

I dont get why Denver is on that list. The Broncos won two super bowls in the past 10 years. Not sure why thats a bad thing. Plus the Avalanche have won the cup twice in the last 15 years and the rockies made it to the world series last year. I dont understand forbes thinking.

Sounds about right, but Minny, Houston & Cleveland should be top 3...

Haha Cleveland. Time since last title: 44 years. Hhahaa

The Astros won a couple years back the series so I don't know wtf this guy is talking about. The Dynamo are also a solid team.

When did the Astros last win, I am going back 50 years and see nothing. The city of Houston has to be on that list with teams like the Astros, Texans or Oilers never ever winning recently. The only team is the Rockets and that was more than a decade ago.

Cleveland hasn't won a title in 44 years, however, Philly hasn't won a title in 25 years, AND we have a hockey teams which you guys don't.

25 years of absolute sucking and dissapointment.

We can't even win this!

agreed philly always gets a smell or even a small taste of the cake but never the whole thing. The Flyers, 76ers, Phillies and Eagles have all gotten close. All have gotten to the big dance and at the end have failed to deliever.

I believe the flyers lost to Detroit in the Stanley Cup Final.
Eagles lost to the Patriots in the super bowl.
76ers lost to the lakers in the nba final
Blue Jays beat the phillies in teh 93 series on Joe Carters walk off homerun.

that sucks philly.. feel bad for you guys... but man Joe Carter and his walkoff was amazing!

3 professional teams

2 titles in last 40 years

0 besides bluejays in 40 years

no appearances in finals in last 15 years

no toronto team has won a playoff round in last 4 years

2 playoff appearances in 4 years

0 baseball appearances in 15 years

we have a hockey team run by mobsters, blue jays overrated or underachieved(you pick one), and now we are desperate to get an nfl team. The raps are our only hope.

Mobsters!? :speechless: Haha. The Leafs are owned by the Teacher's Federation.

* 58% - Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan
* 15% - CTVglobemedia
* 14% - TD Bank Financial Group, through TD Capital Group
* 13% - Kilmer Sports Inc. (Owned by Larry Tanenbaum)

I think you got scarred in high school!

Dude, Sacramento only has one sports team, you can't include one sports cities like Sacramento, Portland, or Salt Lake City on this list. Oh, and the White Sox won the 2005 world series
