If you had to make the next Olympic team from scratch, you couldnt carry over any of the current players. What does your roster look like??

Centers- Oden, Al Jefferson, Bynum
PF's- Gay,Beasley
SF's- Durant, Joe Johnson
SG's- Andre Iguodala,ROY, OJ Mayo
PG's- Rose, Conley

I think it could be better. i cant think of any good young pg's that are good shooters.

SG- Joe Johnson, Monta Ellis
PG- Brandon Roy, Derrick Rose

I think this looks more like a "All-Up and Coming Team" than an Olympic Team.

If i was offered the Coach or Gm Work and couldnt take back 08 team i would NOT ACCEPT it.

You should already Know that "B" Team wont cut it for the gold.

Come on the "Redeem Team" looked about ready to piss their paints when 2 minutes into 4th quarter they were only +1.

Do you really have any doubt that if Kobe or Wade wouldnt have been there they would have got the Silver?.

Geeze, there are just so many good up and coming players in this League. I think that Howard, Bosh, Lebron(pending injury), Wade, CP3, Williams, Reed(but he didnt do ****), and Melo all have a good shot at being back. they are all young so Age wont be kicking in for them. I think Kobe, Boozer, and Kidd will all be sufering from Age, The only player left is Prince which I didnt much care for him on the Team USA Anyway

then you have the Young player. I think Rose, Beasly, Durrant, Kevin Martin, Iggy, Horford, Thomas ( pending development) Al Jeferson, Rudy Gay, OJ Mayo, Amare, Conley, Brandon Roy, Bynum, Josh Smith, Greg Oden, and Beasly all have a good shot at making it.

Did you miss this "If you had to make the next Olympic team from scratch, you couldnt carry over any of the current players. What does your roster look like??" at the start of the thread? Give it a go.

Well none would. Its basically why its the "Dream Team". All the players who didn't make the lineup are not good enough to win a gold medal, not right now. I don't see, in my mind, any lineup who could go all the way. Thats basically why I said "None of these lineups would win", meaning, none in all the possible one's. It take's more than just a couple of good NBA players to get a medal. I guess we noticed that in the last decade.
