00-01 is a little foggy but I remember watching a few. Mainly the 01-02 season when I started really watching the Kings.

My first season was MJ's last season in the NBA 9with the Wizards). If they went to the playoffs I would have gone to their games, but they lost the spot I think in the last game or something like that. :(

I was born in 75', and the first season I remember watching was 85-86'. My dad was a Bird fan, but I liked a young Michael Jordan. I started playing basketball about that time

The first full season I watched was the season where VC left. So as a first season, it still leaves a bitter taste in my mouth.

00-01 season was very vague for me. I remember posters up like "Beat LA" and stuff, but I really wasn't into sports at the time, considering I was around 9 years old at the time. 01-02 season was the season I really started to get into sports, and from there on it was my passion

Nice thread.

I don't remember the previous Celtics championship in 86 (I was 3 years old), but I remember already being fascinated by that team (and court) since the late 80's. I loved Larry Bird, Machale, Parish and even the late Celtics teams of Dee Brown, Dominique Wilkins and Dino Radja.
I love the NBA and the Celtics since then, but I became a real basketball junkie last year when Danny Ainge got he new Big 3 together. I was fortunate to watch my first live NBA game last offseason - the Celtics first game in the champiosnhip season, in Rome against the Raptors.

I don't exactly remember what year it was when I first started watching basketball, but I know that it was Mitch Richmond and Rod Strickland's last season on the Wizards

And I have been a Wizards fan since then, despite having to deal with our best players being Juwan Howard and the old Michael Jordan for some time
