USA will most likely take the Gold
that leaves Spain with the Silver
I hate to say it, but I'm going with Argentina for the bronze

poll is up now. had some errors while posting it heh. lithuania is tough, but i favor argentina. them and spain have my other 2 fav teams after usa because they have a lot of nba talent.

spain i like rubio, gasols, they have a couple other guys.
argent: noc, scola, manu.

Gold - USA
Silver - Spain
Bronze - Argentina

However if Manu doesn't play Lithuania can get the Bronze.

I have a strong feeling that Spain was holding back when playing Team USA because they knew they would play them again. Team USA dominated them in that matchup the last game, but since that game really didn't matter, I wonder how Spain will come out this game.

i think lithuania takes bronze.
too many injuries to argentina, and lithuania was playing great.
and tehy already beat argentina once when they were alot healthier.
could come down to who knocks some threes down tho.

Argentina will beat Lithuania because they will take the game with a more positive aproach, they just lost to usa and that is normal you can count it on your menu, Lithuania instead are angry and depressed because they think they were better than spain, so they wont be focussed.

As for the Final, with Calderon Out its almost Impossible that Usa does not Win, Come on Rubio is good but he is a 17 year old player starting on a Gold medal olympic game and has to care about the Runner up on Nbas Mvp......Enough Said.

I hope at least they take some pride after the 37 point trashing and are able to keep it interesting for a quarter or Two and end up bellow 20 points of difference.

lol it was probably someone being silly because they knew everyone would pick the more logical answer of USA winning gold.

Lithuania plays extremely physical so Argentina will definitely lose, I really don't think Manu and Nocioni can take any more beatings.

done. From what it looked like, it is the same ankle that was hurt. Sorry to tell you this, but I wouldn't be surprised if surgery is needed, which would mean 3-4 months before he sniffs the floor again.

tryin to make it but dont think i will. pretty beat. the way nbc has broadcast these Olympics is pathetic. i havent seen one game. theres so many more sports and all we see is volleyball, gymnastics, and swimming. dick Ebersol, good job.
who shows the basketball games at 230 and 10am? i understand people want to know results live but whos watching it then? pretty annoying. show it then fine, but at least replay the **** in primetime. is basketball not one of the biggest sports in the US? nah lets watch synchronized Swimming and field hockey, which btw looks like it belongs in the special olympics.

^^^Yeah, I'm trying to make it too. I'm gonna have to wake up about 3 hours after the game would be over, but I don't want someone to tell me the score. I think the U.S. will win by 31.
