FIRST ROUND

Orlando vs Toronto
Winner: Vote here!

The total of votes for each team will be counted (all 4 options together) and the team with the higher total wins. Eventually, the result will be the option with the most votes (out of 4 options) of the team that has the most votes altogether.

Example:

If the option which has been voted most out of all 8 in the poll is "New York in 6" (20 votes), it doesn't necessarily mean that New York has won. If New York has 50 votes (New York in 4, 5, 6 & 7 altogether), but Charlotte has 55 votes (Charlotte in 4, 5, 6 & 7 altogether), Charlotte is the winner, although it didn't have the most votes in any of its 4 single options. The option with the most votes of the winner (Charlotte) is the final result.

Let's say:
New York in 4 = 10 votes
New York in 5 = 5 votes
New York in 6 = 20 votes
New York in 7 = 15 votes
Total = 50 votes

Now lets say Charlotte has
Charlotte in 4 = 12
Charlotte in 5 = 13
Charlotte in 6 = 17
Charlotte in 7 = 13
Total = 55 votes
The winner would be Charlotte in 6 since they would have the most votes total overall and thus the option for them that was voted the most is Charlotte in 6 would become the final result.

Orlando in 7 games. I think Dwight Howard will carry them over Toronto.

I think if JO is healthy, which I think he will be, that frontline would be too much for Orlando.

I'll say Raptors in 6.

If both Bosh and O'Neal are healthy then I think the Raptors can get by Dwight and the Magic.

It would also be good because the Raptors would get to redeem themselves from last year.

Toronto in 6 if JO is healthy, Magic in 7 if he's not.

Magic in 7

Both teams have playoff experience, but I believe the Magic are the better overall team. The addition of Mickael Pietrus gives them a big boost at the SG position. Magic pull it off here.

Two very evenly matched squads, but the experience of Toronto whether it be international or the addition of JO will overpower the young Magic, it is not their time yet

How does this work? The Magic destroyed the Raptors last year, and will do the same this year. The addition of J-Oneal wont do squat against real Centers.

I will make a better ban, If the Magic and Raps do Vs in the playoffs this season, and the Magic loose the series, I will asked to be banned for 1 Week.

Yea I am going to ban myself because I really want Ben Gordon back. Alright, we'll see if they meet in the playoffs.

Wow do you hate the Raps or something? Did you even watch that series last year? didn't think so...that series was so close, it could've gone either way. I also don't know why you say J.O can't do anything against real centers...J.O has proven he can play against Center's, he's always been a very good defensive player and for some reason I think having both Bosh and O'neal would make it tough for Howard. Bosh/O'neal is easily one of the best frontcourts in the league, big men are key but there even more key in the playoffs and we've got two of them. Raps in 6 IMO.

No way the raptors beat the magic. Magic would win this thing in 5 max. raptors have improved but they wouldnt beat the Magic. Magic are going far.

Could you explain this reasoning. The raptors have better players at shooting guard, point guard and power forward while the magic are better at centre and small forward. The raptors also have a better bench imo.

Last season i watched the raptors get beat in the first round by the Magic. Rapters added J.O healthy he could help them win more games thats it. Magic added M.Pietris and i think there rookie they drafted s.g C.Lee could win rookie of the year. Howard is a beast and only getting better. HEDO AND Lewis are top SFs/ Raptors got better but MAGIC will win in 5 or 6 easily

Dont see it happening, the Magic only won cause of howard. he dominated the glass and finally the raps have an answer and a defensive presence to hold him more in check, thats JO. JO puts this over the top for the raptors. The magic cant compete with Bos and O'neal in the post at the exact time.

Looks like Orlando won 49-48 votes and since they won that means the option that had the highest votes for them is the one that is selected. Thus Orlando in 7 is what the results indicate.

Will move to Round 2 when the other polls finish. But this was the closest poll and series.

lol nothing against the raptors really. Last season they lost to the magic. I really like what Orlando did this off-season. To me Toronto is J.O/BOSH and 3pt shooters. That will win you games but come playoff time i think the magic would do the same thing they did last year. ahh well who cares

Keep in mind, Hedo and Lewis had pretty damn good seasons last year. I know for a fact that Hedo had a career year and although he could certainly repeat that, the odds are against him. The Raps added alot of size, interior prescence, and an all-star calibre player in O'neal who, If healthy, is a very good player. The Raptors biggest weakness last season was the Center position and defensive perimeter player at SF. We have Moon who should be about the same or a little better then last season. I still say the Raptors take it in 6 and I bet they meet in this years playoffs for real once again and once again it will be a very good, tight, series.
