If you are the Detroit Pistons, what do you do?

Do you make any trades? Or do you simply go with the same team that you have?

If they made a trade who could they get? Iverson? Randolph? Carter? etc

I would say hold tight. Sheed's got one more year, let it play out, and then see where you land, and then go from there. 6 ecf isn't bad, its not as successful as they would like, but its not bad.

As a long-time Pistons freak, it is a tough call. I'm tired of waiting for them to actually play in the postseason and I would like a shake-up to keep it interesting, but like superkegger said, six Eastern Confrence Finals in a row is not bad. If they make a move, who knows if the chemistry will still be there. If they don't, who knows if they'll step up or keep playing great regular season/stinker playoff ball.

I'd stick with this team for one more year and then try to obtain a lottery draft pick. Then let Rasheed walk and try to trade away Billups.

They have 1 more year in them in my opinion, so do all you can to win this year and then start to rebuild.

I agree. Wait just one more year and if they don't win the ring, time to rebuild around guys like Stuckey and Maxiell.

Keep the team the same but do what the Spurs did. Play the older players less in the regular season, then in the post season just bump up their minutes a lot. It conserves energy and lets players like Stuckey and Afflalo develop even more.

First i'd get Sheed some just for men for his gray spot. Then i'd trade Chauncey immediately. Let Sheed expire after this season and reload.

That's comedy!

Rebuild! Trade with the Clips for Kaman, Mobley, Tim Thomas and some cash if need be. Clips get Rip and Sheed

Detroit-
Billups
Stuckey
Prince
Maxiell
Kaman

Cllippers-
Davis
Rip
Thornton
Sheed

I would rebuild.

Trade Billups since Stuckey is emerging as a solid player and Billups will only hold him back. Also trade Wallace. Keep Rip, Prince and Stuckey and build around them. They can get a lot of talent in return by trading Billups + Wallace.
