I am gonna go with Chicago returning back to form and being in the middle of the pack. Not the biggest stretch but they are my sleeper.

Trying to not be a homer on this vote.

Why are you shocked? There almost identical, other then the fact that Philly has the stronger bench..

EDIT: I vote Toronto though for the 5th

Raptors, if JO is healthy, they'll probably be a 3 seed.

Toronto, considering they are healthy, and then the Cavs, but everyone seems to underestimate the Cavs and they are always back in the race. I still choose the Raptors, because they put Calderon at PG and if JO stays healthy, real good team.

It has to be the Cavaliers.

Jermaine O'neal doesn't make the Raptors better then Cleveland, in fact I don't think it makes them that much better. Why? because he won't play much at all according to his stat sheet and his track record.

Even if he is in, does Bosh have the ability of LeBron? NO!
Does Bosh and O'neal, closer but now LeBron has a scoring partner too so its still a, NO!

The Cavaliers have 2 starters in Ben Wallace AND Wally that are only bench players at best at this time in there career, and in no way should they be starters.

They will get overmatched every game, and I don't care how good Lebron is. He won't let them not make the playoffs, i'll agree on that, but I think the Raptors have a better overall team then the Cavs.

So the addition of Mo Williams was a better one than the Raps adding Jermaine?lol. IMO, Williams isn't a heck of a lot better than Gibson.

I went with Washington, but Cleveland and Toronto could also get it. If the Wiz stay healthy I can see them being a top 3 team in the east, along with the Celtics, and Detroit.

The best player in the world will not let his team slip too far. And Wally won't be there to start the season, there is another move coming. Mo Williams is a decent addition, at least now we don't have to watch LeBron do 54 pick and rolls, because nobody else on the team is worth a crap.

lol what hate?

they are a good team.

no hate here, they just aren't tough enough. Now, if JO comes out and shows he is healthy, and they find some depth, than I have no problem conceding the 4th seed to them. Fact is, LeBron is the best player in the world, and will always be in the thick of the race, so the Raps have to prove it first.

Well I am glad to see you watch a lot of basketball..

Yes, for the Cavaliers I think the addition of Mo Williams was perfect, am I saying he is a better player then O'neal when both healthy, no.

I am simply saying that LeBron James is that much of a difference maker. Truely great players tend to do that.

Well since the east got a lot stronger its pretty tough to predict the standing. Of course we got Boston and Detroit at first and second, but after that its wide open.

Injuries are going to play a huge part in the standings.

3rd can go to Orlando, Washington, Toronto, Philly or Cleveland.

I like how the East is looking this season though, it's gonna be nice.
