I'd say fifth place would have to be out of:
Arenas, Butler and Jamison.
Nash, Amare and Shaq.
Miller, Iguodala and Brand.
Calderon, Bosh and Jermaine.

I don't think they are in the top 5 but Arenas, Butler, and Jamison should be mentioned. One of the best guards in the NBA in Arenas, top 5 SF in Butler, and a 20 and 10 guy (at least for one season, haha).

Aha, I am pretty sure that Virginia doesn't even have a team. Either way, most of the trios listed, shouldn't even be there, including Minny ofcourse, because they all suck.

Um...I know you can read (as evidenced by your reply) so you know that Virginia just happens to be where I reside NOW (due to work) but that doesn't mean that I jump on this forum and plug my team under every "best of" thread that comes up. I like to be objective, I'm a bucks fan (Clippers being a VERY distant second) and I wouldn't say Redd/RJ/Bogut are in the top 5 trios in the NBA. And...for real? VA doesn't have a team? Are you serious? Time for me to stop watching basketball!!!

i agree,im a big laker fan but i gotta give some love to da champs.those three would individually be either da first or second option on almost every other team.most trios in da nba have one superstar and two above average players.this team has 3 stars.oh and btw i hate da celtics,i just gotta speak da truth, and no thats not a reference towards paul pierce.

i like the hornets but not cp3, chandler and west.i pick peja over chandler. however, sixers three look much better because defensively are better. outside shooting might be a low point but better than peja shooting the lights out and not guarding anybody well.

alot of people in this thread imo dont know what theyre talkin bout...the top trios are
1.celtics-1st option for all the stars
2.Spurs-won three champs 2gether
3.lakers-kobe plus either bynum/gasol or gasol/odom
4.jazz-2nd best pg.nd two 20/10 with either kirlinko
5.pistons-been to the ecf how many times in a row
6.rockets-could be higher but i dont see them meshing together well nd they have the tracy effect nd are injury prone
