Dirk. Does it better then all of them, and he's more consistent from outside. Considering that's where most of his game comes from, you'd expect him to be better than the other guys you mentioned. Gotta go with Dirk

Yeah. KG is definitely more of a complete player than Dirk. A better defender, rebounder, hustler, post-player and has a lot more heart, but Dirk's perimeter game cant be compared with any other big's

Yao's shooting ability is highly overrated to be putting him in this company

No, Dirk, KG, Sheed, or someone like Brad Miller/Bosh, Mcdyess can't hit the 3, has an okay mid-range, you should have jus put Kurt Thomas as 3 then...

I don't think Aldridge has much better range or shooting than Yao, either.

edit:: actually, I take that back, Aldridge does beat out Yao in shooting.

Pau Gasol has a better midrange shot than Yao and Aldridge, he should be on that list.

Definitely Dirk. He is just an amazing shooter, from all spots on the court. He is easily one of the best pure shooters in the game today. 2nd, I would probably go Garnett. Although he can't shoot the three consistently, he is money from the top of the key.

I can't believe all of you have KG over Okur.

Okur is the best shooter out of all of them. Also, if it's mid-range, David West is a pretty good shooter from the high post.

Dirk followed by Yao.

Dirk is far and away the best shooter of all the big men. He's listed at 7'0 but he's actually closer to 7'2. For big men who have range as far out as 3 point land, Okur is a distant second. Then Sheed.

Zydrunas Ilgauskas, Brad Miller, Garnett, Bosh, Antonio McDyess, Carlos Boozer, and David West all have pretty solid mid range shots. Aldridge does too but I usually see him launch it from the baseline.

I don't get it, which are you asking? 3 point? Mid range? Or the best combination of the two? They all have different answers. If you mean either the 1st option or the 3rd option, why is Yao Ming even in the discussion?

Dirty Dirk

Bosh has the most underated mid range jumper in the game. He is even starting to push it back to the 3pt line sometimes.

Dirk, but make sure there are no biases in your next poll

It would definitely go Dirka and then KG.
