04 Lakers.

Gary Payton, Kobe Bryant, Karl Malone, and Shaquille O'Neal all in their primes? jesus christ. offensively, the suns team is just as good, but defensively, Payton, Bryant, Fox, Malone, and Shaq would've made one mean team.

Mavericks aren't bad either. many good guards and forwards.

PG-Jason Kidd-18.7 pts, 8.9 asts, 6.3 rbs, 2.2 steals. (02-03)
PG/SG-Jason Terry-19.7 pts, 4.9 asts, 1.3 steals. (00-01)
SG/SF-Jerry Stackhouse-29.8 pts, 5.1 asts, 3.9 rebounds. (00-01)
PF-Dirk Nowitzki-26.6 pts, 9.0 rbs, 2.8 asts, 1.0 blks. (05-06)
C-Erick Dampier-12.3 pts, 12.0 rebounds, 1.9 blocks. (03-04)
6th man: SG/SF-Eddie Jones-20.1 pts, 4.8 rbs, 4.2 asts, 2.7 steals. (99-00)
7th man: SG/SF-Josh Howard-19.9 pts, 7.0 rbs, 2.2 asts. (07-08)

SG: Kobe Bryant
SF: Devan George
PF: Karl Malone
C: Shaq O'neal

Bench:

Derek Fisher
Horace Grant

Um...that wouldn't make sense because people are mentioning the 04 Lakers, the 06 Heat, etc, I don't see why the 80s Celtics or the 70s Lakers wouldn't count.

It would definitely have to be the 1984 Los Angeles Lakers.

Magic Johnson- 22.5 PPG, 12.8 APG
Kareem Abdul-Jabbar- 34.8 PPG, 16.6 RPG
Jammal Wilkes- 21.1 PPG, 4.8 RPG
Bob McAdoo- 34.5 PPG, 14.1 RPG
James Worthy- 21.4 PPG, 4.6 RPG
Byron Scott- 21.7 PPG, 4.1 APG
Michael Cooper- 11.9 PPG
Mitch Kupchak- 14.6 PPG, 6.5 RPG

There are two 30 point scorers as well as 4 other 20 point scorers.

If we are counting old teams it has to be the '04 Lakers. Top 5 players all time for their position at 4 of the 5 spots, plus a good defender and shooter and a good bench

I agree about the Phoenix Suns, especially with currently playing NBA players.

I think I am doing this right but here is the Pistons, not necessarily the best but I just thought i would share.... I am from Michigan lol

PG: Billups 18.5ppg, 8.6apg, 3.1rpg
SG: Hamilton 20.1ppg, 3.4apg, 3.4rpg
SF: Prince 14.7ppg, 3apg, 5.3rpg

I forgot about the Rockets.

Steve Francis
Tracy McGrady
Ron Artest
Dikembe Mutombo
Yao Ming

damn, having a prime Mutombo and Yao patrol the paint, while Artest hounds the other team's best player? scary.

If we're just saying current, the Mavs and Celtics are both sick, Suns edge them out though
