Oj Mayo Was My Favourite Player Last Yuear In College Basketball ... I Liked Him That Much. I Still Think He Needs To Work On His Ball Handling

In About 3-5 Years I Think He Maybe The Go-to Guy On The Grizzlies Team If Not Rudy Gay.

He Will Be A Future 20/5/5 Guy

What Do You Guys Think

He may be a 20/5/5 guy, maybe even a 25/5/5 guy but Kobe I dont know bout that.

He wont start to really shine until either him or Gay is traded Elsewhere.

There is only ONE BALL, and the one suposed to share it is COnley.............

He has a very bright future ahead of him, if he keeps on improving. With that said I can't see him ever becoming that Kobe has become. He will most likely become an All Star. He needs to improve his shots and his defense, before we can even compare him with Kobe.

His name shouldn't be in the same sentence with Kobe until he shows something brilliant on the NBA Stage.

He's gonna be good, but not kobe good. I agree that he will average 20/5/5 though

I think Mayo will be really good, but I think Rudy Gay will be in that rare air with Bron and Wade. Nothing to back it up totally, just a feeling.

20/5/5 maybe, but umm Kobe isnt a 20/5/5 guy. So you answer your own question and I dont think he will be better than rudy gay. Maybe equal but not better.

I'll taske Lebron over him but I get your point.

Mayo was not impressive on the college level for all the hype he got.

Why does everybody overate Rudy Gay?.

Maybe because they are never on National Tv?

Here in Spain they show us a ton of Grizzlies games, so we can judge their players.

Ive talked to Crooner about this subject and he agrees with me, Gay is only a Sheet Filler who hogs the ball to get good numbers.

That attitude leads nowhere.

IMO I don't think he has the passing skills of Jason Kid....I see him as more of a Jamal Crawford. With a higher upside.

I'm very interested to see how his career pans out. I've heard a lot of things about his work ethic, how he's a gym rat, which really makes me respect him. And I think all the exposure he's gotten from such a young age, that he'll be the kind of guy that will handle pressure on and off the court. I don't know if he is as talented naturally as Kobe, but I personally feel he's going to be a stud, and it will only be a matter of time before Memphis won't be able to hold onto him.

I could see him as a better version of Ben Gordan with more of an all around game not just scoring.

Dorell wright is the next t-mac. Mayo will be O.J. Mayo- a great player, a superstar. isnt that good enough

give me a break....oj mayo's a joke. he's gonna be a complete bust.

Lets not say that yet. Give him 2-3 years and then we can judge whether or not he is a bust. IMO is going to be an all star.

Not when it came to homework in High School or Coursework in college. Oh..BTW he is 21 going into this season. He frauded everyone by failing so many years in school. We graded him as a Freshman last year when he should be a second or third year pro by now. I think he tops out as a tall Ben Gordon. He'll also be upstaged by at least 4 players in his own draft.

Yh A Smaller Tmac Is Probably What He Will Be If He Keeps On Working Butin The Next 10 Years Who Knows He Could Even Be Mvp Thats If Lebron Retires Loool Jus Kidding

OJ is gonna be nice. I love his hunger and will to get it done. I can see him being an All NBA Defender in the future.

I think Mayo is going to be a great NBA player. I Could see him even makin a few all star teams. I think he'll be a better NBA player than D.Rose. But in no way, shape or form do i think this kid is the next kobe. as a matter of fact i hate anyone being labeled "the next" let O.J Mayo become the first O.J Mayo

When Kobe first entered the league people were asking a very dumb question.. is he the new jordan? well the awnser was no... and the same thing goes for OJ in my opinion.. only one Jordan only one Kobe..
