This will be a series of polls to get a true top 10 list at each spot.

I completed a list of top PG's by votes, Lets head over to the SG's. IN our latest poll Ray Allen defated Brandon Roy to take home the 8th spot..In other news we had a vote off between Vince and Manu and once again the poll ended up being a tie, I cant believe it. That is twice now, both finished with 85 votes. I will have to keep the two shared for 5th spot.

There are a lot of players to be picked from, Please pick the best player. some of the guys on the list could play SF but many have played mostly SG over the last few years..

I removed Barbosa and Gordon as they recieved only 1 and 2 votes last round. A lot of good players left on this list. There are a lot of good SG's out there.

1) Kobe Bryant
2) Dwayne Wade
3) Tracy McGrady
4) Allen Iverson
5) Manu Ginobili
5) Vince Carter
7) Joe Johnson
8) Ray Allen
9)
10)

Don't Forget to vote and make comments!

ray allen does not deserve 8th SG ... but since boston bandwagon fans dont see that ... his name will be on this forum, but for years to come he will continue to be just a shooter .... nothing more then a bald head and a quick release ... he is good but big time overrated

I really thought Kevin Martin or maybe rip could beat allen but I guess not..

I don't think Ray Allen should be #8, but I might be homer, I dunno. if he got the spot, I guess he deserved it.

um, it seriously for me was a random pick between Roy, Martin, and Hamilton.
there's good arguments for all of them.

nobody ever said allen was overated until he went to the celtics. guess everybody that wasnt a celtics fan before hates the big three now. with that being said i think you could argue for rip or roy here.

Wow i cant believe it was a tie again lol.. back and forth back and forth,,,, and then a tie.. o well it was a good battle.... Probably the best in Mile high's series

Mile high maybe we come up with a procedure in case of a tie that will determine a sure winner... sounds easy but i dont know if we can do it.. just a thought.. i would hate to see another tie lol...

BUt yea wats going on with IGGY? before I vote i want to know if we are considering him on the sf list.. cause then i dont want to waste my vote on this one..

I really think Iggy is the guy right here if he is on the sg list... They guy is great.. allen is not even in my top 12.... iggy is so muhc better in many ways.... iggy does everythin gon the court.. by far the best all around player left out of the bunch... He was 20 .. 5 and 5 .. guy last year.. hes only getting better he will be a 25 5 and 5 guy soon enough... maybe this year.. playin with eltons hould help.. hes going to be top 5 in a couple of year... NOt only on offense but his defense is also great.. he is very dynamic.. and i love that in SG poistions.. all the players in the top 5 outside of manu i think... are very dynamic..

IF we arent considering iggy.. i have to go with RIP.. they guys just got a great mid range game... and was compared to reggie miller... I mean he has kinf of slowed down.. i think he needs a chang eof scenary.. but hes solid every year... and people say hes the hardest player to guard in the nBa.. hes always moving..

If thats where he is going to play then.. keep him here.. I just think ppl are a little confused on is hes really a sg... and thats why many ppl arent voting for him.. I think if hes play 2 guard next year thats where he should be

But yea i have to go with iggy... Hes the most complete package out of everyone left.

martin was injured this season and i can guarentee he wouldn't put up 23 a night for the rest of the season so MAYBE 2 20ppg seasons compared to 4 and I will say Redd would've stayed above 20 in his injured seasons

OVERRATED? Wow are you kidding me dude seriously? Redd is known to be a three point shooter, and he didn't even do that well last season.

Redd- 22.7 PPG, 4.3 REB, 3.4 Assists, 44% FG shooting, 36% 3 Pt , 82% FT, .9 stl.

Kevin Martin- 23.7 PPG, 4.5 REB, 2.1 Assists, 45 % FG shooting, 40% 3 pt, 87% FT, 1.0 stl.

I only see one thing that Redd is better than Martin at, and that is assists. If anyone is overrated, it's your 36 percent 3 pt shooter, Redd.

Have you even watched a Kings game last year? Just because your a Bucks fan, you think Redd is better? Martin is 4 years younger, takes less shots from the floor, and still averages more points per game than Redd. There is no way you'd rather have Michael Redd, than Kevin Martin on your team...

I'd take Martin over Redd anyday. Redd is a chucker. Martin gets 24 ppg on 15 shots a game, and was the 2nd option to Ron Artest last year. This year he will be without a doubt our go to guy on offense. I can see him getting 20 shots a game, and if he does, watch out, because he will be top 5 in scoring. I believe he was 6th last year. You also can't discount his ability to get to the free throw line. And once he is there, he will make close to 90% of his FT attempts.

His 2nd game after coming back from a groin injury, Martin scored 39 points in 28 minutes. His first two games back, he missed a total of 4 shots and averaged 32 ppg. So much for being rusty after not playing for over a month. The man is a scoring machine, and a very efficient one at that. If anything, he is underrated since he plays for the Kings and they are never on national tv.

Yea Martin should be ahead of both Redd and Ray Allen after last year but Redd had abit of a down year, he focused more on involving his teammates so I dont think calling him a chucker is fair after all, Mo Williams had a career year playing next to him in large part due to his unselfishness. Redd should be in the prime of his career right now, Kevin is where Redd was at last year. Just a flat out scoring machine except slightly more turnover prone while being slightly more efficient from the field.

Also Kings fan use the whole Artest got in the way of K-Mart thing too much, Kevin led the team in usage% its just you look at shot attempts and think thats all there is to possessions, look at how much Kevin got to the line all those are extra possessions he accounted for. Granted it could go up next year now that hes the sole face of the franchise it wont necessarily translate into better production. We'll see how he responds in fact we saw Redd go through that same transformation earlier in his career as Milwaukees other stars left him, but Kevin and Redd are pretty much equals except that Redd is in the prime of his career while Kevin will almost certainly get much better. It could be as early as next year, but as of right now Id say the guy on the olympic squad is the better player.
