View Full Version : Cuban likes NBA players in Europe

Mark Cuban believes that the movement of NBA veterans to Europe is actually a good thing for the NBA. Really. Cuban's stance on the issue might change if, say, Dirk doubles his salary by returning to Europe once his contract expires. But Cuban did blog an interesting case to support his stance that the NBA benefits from the Euro competition for talent. Cuban, whose stance against NBA players participating in the Olympics is well known, would like to see the Euro teams advance to the point where they could compete against the elite NBA teams in tournaments.

Dirk wont go back. Hes an NBA star. Hes the face of an NBA franchise. All the other Europeans who have gone and returned to Europe are pretty much role players at best. Making FAR less than Dirk in the NBA but will make MUCH more in Europe and will more than likely become bigger stars in Europe. I dont see Dirk leaving the NBA. I think he wants an NBA ring MORE THAN ANYTHING.
