I think 24 TD's 17 INT's and about 3400 yards passing.
400 yards rushing.
4 TD's rushing.

If you saw the cowboys game he just ran from the pocket each play.
They were using him in practice to simulate Tony Romo before the game.

They also were running a prevent defense, but in reality I don't think 400 yards is too big of a stretch.

I'm guessing this is based on him playing all 16 games this year. I would say on average he will throw for 210 yards with 2tds and 1int. He will also have 25 rushing yards a game IMO. So this would make his numbers for a season:

3360 yards passing
30 tds
18 ints
400 yards rushing

I would be more than happy with David Gerrard type numbers. 18 td's 8int's. And somewhere around 3000 yds. That would make me really happy.

I think that Aaron Rodgers will have a good year. I believe 3000 yards passing 23 TD 14 INT. I think he'll have around 300 yds rushing and 5 rushing TD. I think he is ready to be our starting QB and i think he will be a good one. Go Packers!

Where's KG?

Aaron Rodgers numbers in 08 will be shaky, and you should expect it. You guys were spoiled and blessed for the last 16 years. Now, you face it, you have a Rookie QB starting for your team. I would venture to say somewhere around 2500-3000 passing, 15-20 TD's and 15-20 interceptions. With as injury prone as has been noted....I'd leave the running up to Ryan Grant. Growing pains are inevitable, just been a long time since anyone in GB has experienced them.

I disagree. I saw very good decision making when he played at Cal. He was very efficient. i know that that is on the college level, but that good decision making should project to this level as well. I dont see him trying to force too many throws

to answer the question...i really like the david garrrard comparison that was made....so ill say 18 td 9 int

17 TD, 13 INT, 3200 YDS, 58% COMP.

I would agree that he's more in the David Garrard mold than anything else. Can pick up the yardage with his feet and arm. I wouldn't expect ridiculous numbers from him though, but he has a chance to be the best QB in a weak QB division.

3,300 yards - 24 TD's - 17 INT's.

okay i normally don't post on these forums but i am constatnly read every thread, and i just had to post to this.

first of all arron rodgers is not a rookie, he has been blessed by being able to watch, learn, and practice with a legend in favre. if you have watched the very few snaps that a-rod has had he has shown that he is a pretty solid qb. when he took those snaps against dallas i was so impressed and actually anxious to see him play this year. a-rod is far from shaky and with the recieving core that the packers have he will put up good numbers this year. i am expecting nothing less from a-rod then a playoff birth.

I could maybe understand that if the Green Bay Packers were one of these teams with a new QB and not many offensive options. This isn't the Atanta Falcons or the Miami Dolphins. This team looks to be loaded offensively. Aaron Rodgers simply has too many options for their to be extended growing pains.

In the passing game we have Donald Driver, Greg Jennings, James Jones, Ruvell Martin, Donald Lee, Jordy Nelson, Vernand Morency and possibly rookie Jermichael Finley....Ryan Grant, Brandon Jackson....

Not to mention Rodgers is going into his fourth season. He's going to be more polished than a QB getting his first starting gig.

I say he does decent but does miss a few starts b/c he is so injury prone.

So he sat on the bench and watched the game for 3 years. There are a lot of guys that sit on the bench their entire career and don't learn how not to throw INTs. He's been learning behind Favre. Holmgren said that it took him 2 years to get the Favre out of Hasselbeck, because Hasselbeck had seen Favre make great plays out of nothing he would try to, and end up getting intercepted. What makes you think this won't happen to Rodgers?
I think we're gonna run into injury problems this year, though. We had almost no major injuries last year, and that's why we went 13-3. Not many teams go 2 years in a row without a major injury affecting their team.

I say he goes for 2800 yds. 18 tds and 16 Ints. He is going to struggle a little bit at least. Not many players make that seemless stride into starting QB in the NFL without major missteps along the way.
