He's finally turned the corner in the minors. Will he be a productive player in the Majors?

hopefully he'll be able to contribute and he'll have a chance next yr.
as our LF with Scott doing the dh and Huff at 1b. I kinda of like Millar
he's a good vet for the younger guys to look up to ,but we gotta get a little younger sooner or later

huff at 1b, scott at dh, montanez in LF. he has looked good and looks like a smart, patient hitter. just needs to work on OF defense a bit. i hope they give him a shot or two in center to spell payton

thats not gonna happen cause were gonna sign tex

Then put Huff at 3B, Scott at DH, and Reimold (more likely) at LF.

Never assume we are going to sign a 100mil+ player when two teams in the same division, with more money and are in contention every year, will make equally attractive offers. theres no sure thing that teixeira picks the o's over the yanks or sox just cause he lived here

Signing him really shouldn't be a priority, either. Though it might be.

We need pitching and a middle infielder bad.

Another 3 for 5 two ribby night! This guy really can rake, he's starting to remind me of another Guthrie-esque reclamation. Kudos to the front office for picking up these high upside projects. Lou was initially a SS prospect, given our difficulties with the position, and finding space in the developing Scott, Montanez, Reimold loggerjam, I wonder if there is any thought of trying him back in a middle infield slot? Maybe just wishful thinking, but what do you guys think?
