August 14th, because of Donte Greene's trade restriction. (You can not trade a draft pick until thirty days after the player signs.)

TMAC, i would think you could find a rocket players quote. instead of Paul Pierce seeing how your whole profile is full of rocket players and pictures.

starting lineup this year

Francis
T-Mac
Artest
Scola
Yao

Francis has to step it up in the offseason. if he does this rely could be a contender cause alston sure cant handle it.

Why do you think Francis can do better the Alston?

Francis WAS great, but NOW could at best be a great role player off the bench. I love Francis and would love to see him be great again, but that will not happen IMO.

Alston played 74 games last year and 82 games the year before that. He is a great 3 PT shooter and a good passer/ball hander. With Yao, McGrady and Artest, we just need a PG who can distribute and can knock down the open shot. Sure, Francis might be able to do that, but is not reliable, is injury prone and is not known as a distributor.

Plus, a big reason why we even won 2 games in the playoffs this year was because of Alston's great performance in those games. He was making good passes, setting up shots and knocking down the 3 PT shot.

They have to wait until one month after Donte Greene signed with the Rockets.
