I always get into arguments about this topic. If you had a choice between the two who would you pick? I'd give bosh the slight edge and here's why:

1)He's quicker
2)Better shot
3)Better moves
4)Still a year younger

Bosh and Amare's shot are "=" and Same with their defense, Amare is more Althetic, but bosh is a better rebounder, I'd take Amare, but bosh is really close...

i am a raps fan .. and i would take amare at this moment but that decision will not be the same after this season, amare is a better rebounder and better post moves with more strength, bosh is more of a true pf .. he has more range then amare younger quicker and a better first step ... tougher to guard is bosh and better franchise player is bosh but as of right now amare's toughness is big

IMO the only thing amare has over bosh is his killer instinct. If bosh developed a more aggressive attitude hed be the best pf in the league.

I love Bosh. he is a great PF, great speed, versatility, skill. Amare at this point is a better scorer, and a bit more explosive. I can't really decide, it's about equal for me.

9.1 rpg for Amare in 33.9 mpg
8.7 rpg for Bosh in 36.2 mpg

Amare definately has better statistics here but I don't think the difference is big enough to throw insults around questioning whether someone watches basketball...

Bosh Career RPG- 9.0
Amare Career RPG-9.1

Very Similar career totals. Also note Amare never averaged double didgit RPG and bosh did in 06-07 (10.7) So to say bosh is the better rebounder is not a stretch. Remember Amare had shaq in the second half of the season to clear up more space for him inside to grab boards. Weel c how bosh does this year with JO clearing up the paint for him.

Give me Bosh to lead a team. Amare if the team already has a bigger star.

Amare is the more dominant player and like someone previously mentioned he has that "killer insinct". IMO he's never averaged double digit rebounding because for his whole career he was team mates with Marion (career 10.1), and as soon as Marion was traded Amares rebounds jumped to around 10 or 11. Expect Amare to have a career rebounding year.

I prefer Bosh

as far as the rebounding, remember Phoenix plays at a quicker pace

Amare.... bosh is a good player but I think amare has the chance to go down as one of the best PF's to play the game... This kid b4 injury was a beat .. in the WCF against dunking he averaged liek 35 and 10 somthing crazy like that or close to it.. he had like two 40 point games...

Hes is just so explosive.. and amare's shot took off last year.. he really shot the ball really well.. even his mid range stuff was on the money... I think amare is actually quciker... B4 injury it was a no brainer that he was the fastest..but even after injury he has worked his way up...

He is just one of thebest finishers in the game.. Like someone said up there .. its his killer instincts..a nd his confidence.. He calls himself the best player in the game.. I mean he just goes in and attacks so aggresively.. He will throw down on anything and anyone... Its amzing.. God if he didint get hurt he would have been the best PF in the game right now.. and the best to ever paly.. yes over malone, and duncan... none of them had the numbers amare did at his adge... His fg% is also amazing... I just cant say enough about him lol.

Bosh. He's more capable of putting a team on his back in my opinion. Amare is probably more aggressive but Bosh is younger and has promising leadership qualities.

Amare is a great scorer, especially with Nash feeding him. I mean, like in the 04-05 season, when he was just 23 years old, he was averaging 26 points, 9 rebounds, and shooting .559FG%. without the injury, he'd be averaging 30/10 right now. offensively, he is the best bigman in the league.

but I love Chris Bosh and his game, and personally I think he'd make a better leader.

I've think Amare is better, but D'Antoni didn't want him shooting jumpshots. He can hit threes's at a pretty high rate. I'll take Amare. Better offensively, better defensively.

I wonder how many ppg Bosh would get if he had Nash getting him the ball...hmm. Bosh is the better post defender and has a more consistent shot and he too can knock down 3's. He's also younger and should be ready to break out this season with JO. People just see Amare's monster dunks on SC and automatically think he's a beast, but Nash is a BIG part of his game. Without Nash, who knows how good Amare would be

There is not doubt that Amare is an amazing scorer. I do think though that nash really helps him out alot. How many of those open beastly dunks he score? He also better average more rebounds than bosh on a team that shoots as many shots a game as phx does. I really like bosh's ability to score inside and out, play above average d, his good character, and his leadership qualities. Give me CB4.

bosh. his game is just more polished all around. he may not be as powerful as amare, but he can do it all. i dont think amare is much of a shooter, even though i see some disagree with that. bosh will be more of an mvp canidate than amare. he is not even the mvp of his team.

Lets do comparisons from this year:
Minutes: Amare 34 and Bosh 36.
Points: Amare 25 and Bosh 22.
Rebounds: Amare 9.1 and Bosh 8.7.
Assists: Amare 1.5 and Bosh 2.6.
Blocks: Amare 2.1 and Bosh 1.
Steals: Amare 0.8 and Bosh 0.9.
FG%: Amare 0.590% and Bosh 0.494%
