since when do we lose at orlando and we have a better chance beating the lakers than the celtics. i say we beat both those teams and lose a back to back on the road to a not so good team.

yao, scola>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> bynum, gasol. how do you know if pau and bynum will work for the lakers maybe itll clog the paint for kobe and he should be betting his contract extension this fall and wants a deal better than biedrins and the lakers are already over the luxury cap.

That would suck. Why do you think they start off 9-9?

stevefrancis

just like last year they have one of the hardest schedules to begin with and we were under 500 until we were 24-20 and started the winning streak. this year wouldn't be as bad because the players know the offense and don't have to learn anything new like last year but 16-2 is pushing it especially when were starting off with a west coast road trip 6 games in 9 days.

Predicting wins this early on is beyond stupid. And I doubt very seriously that we start the season 16-2. We're bound to lose to some unexpected teams... What a dumb idea for a thread.

As ridiculous as it is to predict an entire month of basketball months before the season even starts, how in the hell do you expect the lowly Heat to beat the Rockets?

Thank god we managed to get Artest. If I had to see one more ridiculous trade idea, I was gonna explode...

I believe that it'll take the first months for the three stars to gel together. Road wins in the west are hard to come by and everyone loses a dumb game so i threw in the Heat (which by the way will be tough with a healthy Wade, a stud Rookie, and Shawn M.). Do I like the Rockets, not really. Are they going to be tough, yes. It will take a few weeks though. IMO

Yeah.... but I think they can do better than 9-9 (though, not as good as 16-2) and they won't lose to the Heat, who suck. Realistically, I see somewhere between 11-13 wins, with a lot of losses coming on those hard road stretches.
