Brown is a very good athletic player, hes ok with shooting, hes more of a slasher, and incase you forgot>> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-K-X-OxMJz8

Never really given a chance to shine in Cleveland. Good signing IMO
Always good to have some depth at the 2

Well, hopefully we can do something with him. I expect he'll be the second or third option at SG.

^^ I know but when your only backup 2 is an unathletic 3pt shooter, it doesn't hurt to add an athletic slasher

It's a pretty low risk signing.

Yeah I agree with Derek. At the minimum salary it's low risk/potential high reward......if he offers anything then it's a plus. He at least offers another look off the bench.

And I wonder how much of it is guaranteed.

There were times when he really came up big for the Cleveland Cavaliers, especially during the times when he was most needed. As the season went along he kept seeing more and more minutes because his performance on the floor kept improving. None the less, he was just a role player, but this was a role player that could have the potential to become a starter if he continues to improve correctly under the right coaching staff for him. The question is if he will continue improving well with the coaching staff of the Charlotte Bobcats.

Good signing for the Bobcats, lets see if he plays the same or better as he did with the Cavaliers last season.

At first I was confused about this signing (why get another small forward?) but this guy has potential and is gonna be trade bait because of it and his potential to contribute ona team that has a need for his position

Look for him to be a part of a deal later this season if he doesn't blow up here

He's not a small forward. He's a 2 guard.

He's not a small forward. He's a 2 guard.

He's hardly 6 foot, regardless of being listed a tad taller.

It's going to be hard for him to cut it in the NBA because of his lack of height. But he does have explosiveness. And he's not afraid to shoot.

His problem is matching up defensively, and sometimes over dribbling, rather than looking to get his teammates involved.
