I dont really think so, although without garnett, they'd probably still had al jefferson but they wouldnt hav won the champions, maybe 2nd in east

Hell no. Garnett made everyone better on that team. He wanted to win a championship badly, and he had that fire in him that a lot of players didn't have. Even with Big Al, the Celtics wouldn't get past the 2nd round IMO. Garnett gave them the toughness and experience thats crucial in winning the Championship.

Let us never forget if there was no Ray Allen or anyone else off of Kevin Garnett's short list there wouldn't have ever been Garnett in Boston or for that matter a 17th Championship last year.:D .

Garnett turned that team into a defensive juggernaut.

Celtics would not win without Garnett and with Pierce and Allen
Celtics would not win without Pierce and with Garnett and Allen
Celtics would not win without Allen and with Pierce and Garnett

So, you could name any of their superstars and without all 3 playing together they would not win the championship.. Garnett is the focal point of this teams success.

But if I had to choice the 2 superstars to stay, it'd be Garnett and Pierce of course.. I do believe they would have a better chance then Pierce/Allen or Allen/Garnett

Mmm let me think..... Pau against jeffersson.......
mmmmmm NO WAY IN HELL WOULD THEY HAVE WON.

But well of course we have to take on account that they have pierce the " best player on the world" in his own world LMAO.

Hope this guys allen paul and Kevin start acting his age this year and go out of the palyoffs.

Absolutely not. Having gone over this 50 times in the Celtics forum, we've decided that they might be a playoff team with just Allen in the picture, but without Garnett, there's no Posey, House, Cassell or PJ Brown either, and that puts any remote questions over the edge.

nope

Definitely not.

Although 2-3 seasons from now they wouldn't mind having Al Jef :p

But all of the pics etc. are all crap since the celtics won't be in the lottery. They're all mid 20s at best. And the rest of the players were trash, besides maybe Gomes.

hahaha is this a rhetorical question? Look at what pierce accomplished without KG the year before. sorry i love ray ray, but theres no way he'd have been enough, they would have been a top 6 team... maybe

Their PSD accounts should be revoked and they should be beaten with blunt objects. This is the most easy answer ever. I am assuming they are both from Boston.

The Celts obviously could not have won without Pierce, also.
