Michael Jordan was asked in this attached interview who would win a game of one on one between him and Kobe Bryant.

Do you agree that Michael Jordan in his prime would easily beat Kobe Bryant? Why or Why not?

Was Michael Jordan in his prime better than Kobe Bryant... uhh... yeah.
Better offence, better defence.
I'd like to see some Kobephiles try to argue this one...

The Bulls didn't win championships, MJ won championships.
The Lakers didn't win championship, Shaq won championships.
NOT KOBE!

I completely agree, where are the kobe supporters? MJ would kick Kobe's *** on the court and than leave with Kobe's wife.

MJ easy, Its not a dis to Kobe, he is a great player and will end up being one of the top players we have ever seen, but until he wins a title without Shaq you cant even have them in the same sentence

It depends...Kobe is a better shooter than Jordan ever was and Kobe gets hotter than even MJ (as evidenced by his string of consecutive 50pt games, his 62pt in 3 quarters, his 81 point game). I think Jordan would beat him the majority of the time, but Kobe could beat him once in a while for sure.

It's not even about championships...
He's asking about a game of 1 on 1...
in which case, MJ's offense would be unstoppable against Kobe's weak defence, while Kobe would have alot more difficulty scoring on MJ's defence.

Compare the shooting percentages. MJ could hit pull up jumpers with great consistency, but why take pull up jumpers when you are unstoppable taking it to the hole??
