it's a tough choice. IMO 2000 team will win it b/c they're great defensive team. Zo had just won back-to-back DPOYs. He will shut down all the big men in 2008 squad. Payton, arguably the greatest defensive PG in history, was in his prime. Garnett is great defender and just hit his prime at that time

I said 2008.... Lebron and Kobe, and 2008 has more weapons.

The 2008 team is better, much better. Even though the 2000 squad has a great defense, they're not stopping this 2008 offense.

I'd go with 2008.

the 2000 team looked amazing defensively..

but the 2008 team looks like they have more weapons and a better bench

But wouldn't the 2000 squad work better as a team? Just wondering...

I think the 2008 team is better. The depth is astounding. Deron Williams as the third string PG? He is arguably the best point guard in the NBA. Dwyane Wade as the sixth man?

The 2008 team dominates every single position including depth.

Gary Payton in 2000 was better than 2008 Jason Kidd, but then 2008 has Chris Paul and Deron Williams as the 2nd and 3rd string.

Kobe Bryant and Dwyane Wade most definately have the upper hand over Vince Carter and Ray Allen.

Carmelo Anthony and Tayshaun Prince have the upper hand over Allan Houston and Steve Smith offensively and defensively.

Kevin Garnett and Lebron could be seen as equal basketball players, but Carlos Boozer coming off the bench as well as Carmelo Anthony makes the PF spot go to 2008 because of the depth.

A case could be made for Alonzo Mourning being much better than Dwight Howard, but in the previous season, Dwight averaged 21 and 14 while Zo averaged 21 and 9 in the season previous to 2000.
