Taht was a good article, and Yao throws some good points out there. I never really thought about the fact how ticked China is at wearing out Yao (which we do since we don't have that legit of a backup Center).

I think Yao is trying to decieve his opponents. I dont think he would play unless he was at least 80% fit. 60% yeah right.

I dont doubt that he would play if he was under 50%... he loves his nation playing for his national team is the most important thing in his life and I have little doubt that even if he had a doctor tell him not to play and that there would be dire concequences he would still play.

Man this sucks, His going to play thru September, we arent going to have a healthy Yao once NBA season starts, Im so pissed off, the good news is that he wont be playing for the olympics anymore he said this was his last year. I guess we really need a Backup Center really bad sinse Yao isnt going to be 100% healthy.
