Cavaliers Payroll (http://www.shamsports.com/content/pages/data/salaries/cavaliers.jsp)

I hear many use the idea that Lebron doesn't have a good team, which I agree that he doesn't have a good 2nd option or offensive team but he does have a good defensive team, but I'm wondering how in the world that team got a $86 million dollar payroll.

Ben Wallace is vastly overpaid, Wally Sczcerbiak is overpaid, Eric Snow is overpaid, most of the Cavaliers are overpaid.

Most of them come off the books next year though, still not enough for them to get a pretty good superstar to be LBJ's sidekick the following season. I can't believe they traded for Ben Wallace and his ginormous contract :sigh:

Danny Ferry will go down as the idiot who lost Lebron.

^Maybe just maybe...but then again, is Cleveland really where Lebron wants to be?

The payroll is so high because of bad signings. Detroit has a payroll near 76M if im correct and the Magic's payroll is near 85M. Detroit is Definetly the better team and the Magic's payroll is so high just because of the stupid contract Rashard got.

If Olympiakos (or some other European team) does indeed offer LBJ 40 million non-taxed Euros, I would feel really sorry for Jay-Z and his Nets, doing all these moves for nothing. LeBron would be an idiot not to take the money.

Yeah, i hear you on that, but the Nets could go after another star like Wade half the other NBA stars.

True, but with the moves Miami is making (and is going to make), I think Wade will prefer to stay with the Heat. A rising star in Beasley, and if the Heat manages to pry Boozer from the Jazz, what more do you want?? Meanwhile, the Nets team got nothing except for cap space (and probably Devin Harris).

We have yet to see though, many things might and are going to happen. I don't think the Cavs will win a championship soon though.

Well, i guess that whoever else likes a lot of money, besides Lebron will go to the Nets.;)

He, if Olympiakos gives Lebron 40 million dont you think that inmediately Panathinaikos is gonna make a big offer to Wade? if it comes down then Cska Moscow will have to match that and Make an offer to Bosh, and then Real Madrid or Barcelona will say, hey im not a lesser team Ill go for Carmelo , or Stoudamire.

Mr Stern, better do something about the cap before 2010.

I got my numbers from the ESPN trade machine, which one is wrong, probably the machine cause lux tax is near 71M right.
