Really?? Was this your list of the best active players or in the history of the league?

Nash: 2X MVP, could easily make argument with Stockton.
Tmac: Let's see him get past the first round of the playoffs before we feel sympathy
James: Too young to have this conversation apply to him
Bosh: Over Malone? Really?
Amare: I hate Patrick Ewing, so I like this pick.

There is a lot of love for AI but he is no John Stockton. He has records that will never be broken. And I am with ya with Reggie Miller. He has meant a lot more to the sport then Tmac. He is a first round loser.

some of these answers really show you there are a lot of kids on the board if they are saying guys like Lebron, Paul, Bosh etc... The first list was bang on. Nice job.

I completely agree with your five. Stockton, Miller, Barkley, Malone, Ewing. Funny thing two Jazz players on the list. That sucks.

Patrick Ewing, Charles Barkley, John Stockton, Karl Malone, Elgin Baylor (I am not sure if '72 counts because he was on the team for the first 7 games of the year, but then retired), Chris Webber.

Redd is not pathetic...one dimensional? Yes he is. But he is a success story being a second round pick who evolved into a top ten scorer on a horribly mis-managed small market club. It would be nice to see him get a ring...won't happen until we finally trade him to a team with a legitimate superstar. I'm a fan, but no, he doesn't belong on this list. My vote is as follows:
PG: Kidd
SG:Reggie Miller
SF: Chris Mullin/Dominique Wilkins
PF: Karl Malone
C: Patrick Ewing

Nice on including Mullin and Nique! Those guys in their prime were amazing. Another person overlooked, though his career was shortened by injuries was Kevin Johnson.
